(PA) Bah, the women are as tough as men, nothing else. Fights, rythm , escapes, romance in the middle, confusing plot and autorithy in the palace ruled by a king. In this kind of actionfilm, indian RRR beats hem all this year...

Since I kept hearing some pretty good things about this film, I was quite eager to check it out. Eventually, even if I’m not a huge fan of ‘Black Panther’, without the success of this Marvel installment, it is doubtful that this movie would have ever been greenlighted. Anyway, I thought the damned thing was incredibly inspiring and also terribly heartbreaking. Indeed, as pointed out in this ... read more

Stuff I have seen with my girlfriend (10 movies items)

" Notes: I already saw this movie once but I was quite eager to check it out with my girlfriend since she is coming from Africa. Indeed, I think the damned thing was incredibly inspiring and also terribly heartbreaking. To be honest, even though my girlfriend liked it and thought it was interesting, she really had a hard time to handle the violent scenes so I guess I should avoid this kind of material in the future."

A good movie

“Since I kept hearing some pretty good things about this film, I was quite eager to check it out. Eventually, even if I’m not a huge fan of ‘Black Panther’, without the success of this Marvel installment, it is doubtful that this movie would have ever been greenlighted. Anyway, I thought the damned thing was incredibly inspiring and also terribly heartbreaking. Indeed, as pointed out in this movie, back then, the African nations seemed to be fairly prosperous but the slave trade completely crippled this whole continent and you might wonder if they will ever recover from it. Basically, the various tribes would wage war, make prisoners, sell these prisoners as slaves, buy more guns (of course, from the slave traders) and start all over again which was obviously a dark and vicious circle” read more

2023 Oscar Nomination Predictions (20 movies items)

"1.Catherine Martin- ElvisNot sure it's the winner, but Martin's a two-time winner with another period biopic extravaganza. Lock. 2.Mary Zophres- BabylonShould be a lock. While the costumes here are not as lush as some movies from this era, Zophres is well-liked and she's scored nominations at every major precursor. Safe. 3.Jenny Beavan- Mrs. Harris Goes to ParisBAFTA and CDG nominations. Beavan has won three times, off of 11 nominations, including last year (Cruella). After being on the outsid"
