"Re-watch - Aug. 10th I watched this with the kiddo, who spent the first part of the movie comparing it to the book which she's read but I have not. I've always enjoyed this movie, with its atypical visual style and winning underdog story. I've tried a number of times to get her to watch it, and this was the first time I succeeded. More to her surprise than mine she enjoyed it too."
