"This film looks like the James Wan directed Conjuring films and is done technically well. But the script is pretty weak, the film is only loud cheap jumpscare after another and nothing original in it. "A terrible entry in the Conjuring franchise which shows the origins of the nun who haunts the team. Set in a nunnery in Romania, a priest and a novice nun must investigate the death of a nun, only to discover the building has the gates of hell in the basement. A film with no scares whatsoever in a film that is shot in near darkness and relying on jump scares. About as scary as reading an Enid Blyton book, it's time to stop making these dire so-called horrors."
