"Ian Carmichael stars as a petty thief who steals a suitcase of forged bank notes with the same serial numbers. With that much money, he decides to try and win the heart of local barmaid Belinda Lee but his clumsiness and nervousness of being caught with the cash could ruin it for him. A gentle, little-seen British comedy which follows the same formula set out by Ealing. The colour stock is bright while Carmichael is as likeable as ever."
