"I found Arrival to be overall too much of a slow burn to give it a higher rating but that doesn't mean that I didn't have a great time figuring this film out. It is definitely one that makes you have to think, especially after leaving the theater to decide if it all holds together at the end. Of which I think really worked, a reveal at the end could have fallen on its face and ruined what came before but it flowed easily with the film as a whole.
