Arrival, I think is better than Sicario but I still wanted more from Villeneuve, and I'm not sure why. I don't really know where these expectations came from. Amy Adams delivers a sterling performance, neither giving too much or too little, her presence is as poignant as the story. And a special shout out to that powerful musical score.
