"Benicio Del Toro was bad ass in this movie! Sound effects was done well, such as that highway prisoner transportation scene. So intense and thrilling."
Sine"
"After evading a trap that was set up during a safe house raid, a young FBI agent, Kate Macer, is given the chance for some payback by being assigned to a larger task of bringing down the leader of a powerful Mexican drug cartel. Joining a team of CIA agents in charge of the operation, Macer faces the truth of such big time assignments and the dirty little secrets involved, not to mention the dangerous risks. Sicario is the kind of story that Hollywood usually enjoys manipulating into a more o"
“The best thing going in Sicario is Roger Deakins’ masterful use of light. Deakins is such a high-level artist in his field that he can transform the most mundane and muddled of scripts into top-flight entertainments. He uses his consummate skills to make Sicario a beautifully murky, tension filled action-crime-thriller and elevates the weakly written material into something much better. It’s this persistent conflict between top-shelf technique by all involved smashing into a poor script that keeps Sicario in some strange state, locked in-between a serious triste on the War on Drugs and a popcorn entertainment. I lean harder towards thinking of this as a popcorn entertainment with A-level craftsmanship. The longer the film goes on, the more director Denis Villeneuve’s techniq” read more

" 9.0/10 Superbly shot (Roger-fucking-Deakins) and edited (Steve McQueen's guy, Joe Walker) film on a subject that isn't too unique but delivers an intelligent script with polished performances and a few scenes that are likely to become iconic. Love the ending. "
"1st viewing PC/TV 5 March 2016 Directed by: Denis Villeneuve Koko ajan oli jotain tapahtumassa, mutta aika vähän loppujen lopuksi tapahtui. "

"Hard to determine what point, if any, the director was trying to make, on the War on Drugs and the U.S./Mexican border relations. Nevertheless, spellbindingly unpredictable, keeps you guessing, thus, entertained. Probably Del Toro's best work in years. And by the way, my mom has relatives in both El Paso and Juarez, and went there back in the '50s or '60s. She says, "it hasn't changed much," by the look of it in the movie."
"Wtf is this bullshit movie I wasted my time on. Ugh. Emily Blunt deserves better. Seemed to have promise in beginning, even a bit horrory, but the powerful foreboding music became overdone and ridiculous, building up to something that never came. Such a shame bc I liked the character chemistry. The twist is soap opery and by the end I had little sympathy for any of the characters. Plus the whole you're not a wolf ending and her crying character in the end ugh. I mean it goes over the horrors of "
