Atom Egoyan is one of those few modern film directors who are able to create a tense atmosphere in the same way as Alfred Hitchcock, the original master of suspense. The director treats sensitive subjects with respect they deserve, which is not too common these days. "Remember" reminds us that some sins might be unforgivable and it manages to avoid the most common obstacles of the thriller genr"
