Description:
A young woman with a dark past finds wisdom and her identity in the romance of the old west.
Painted Woman, the film, began with Amber Lindley's first meeting with prolific western novelist, Dusty Richards, at a writers' convention. The Mustanger and the Lady, Richard's 150th published novel, seemed like the perfect story for Lindley to re-tell on the big screen. When James Cotten began to collaborate, the screenplay emerged as Painted Woman.
