Moana update feed
"It may start out just a little too slow, but once it gets rolling, this is a fun, energetic, and beautifully animated adventure, that will delight both kids and adults. 9.0/10"
"First viewing - Dec. 4th The kiddo & I woke up Sunday morning & headed off to catch a screening of Moana after breakfast, as it's one of the few animated films I've been genuinely excited to see this year & we haven't been to a theatre together since I moved here. As it turns out it was very much worth seeing, and we'd both gladly watch it again. It's funny, heartfelt, and while the story isn't especially original the characters and storytelling help keep it fresh. The visuals are quite impress"
"Notes: Even though 'Moana' was decent and at least miles better than the terribly overrated 'Zootopia', the best movie in this category was easily 'La tortue rouge'. Indeed, not only it was gorgous to look at but this tale just way more original than anything else provided by any other animated features released this year. "
"1."City of Stars"- La La LandThe favorite. Lock 2."Audition (The Fools Who Dream)"- La La LandProbably a lock. La La Land will likely have a major grip on this category. 3."How Far I'll Go"- MoanaProbable. The movie's music is getting a lot of praise, and Disney movies have a pretty excellent record in this category. It doesn't hurt that it has Lin-Manuel Miranda's name attached to it, who's having a hell of a year, possibly close to EGOTing. 4."Drive It Like You Stole It"- Sing StreetJohn C"
"Best Animated Feature Best Original Song - "How Far I'll Go"."
"A pretty dark, existential story. Moana is looking for her meaning in life, but no matter where she goes or who she meets, the answer isn't there. The credits roll when she realises there's just no hope."

"November 28 "If I was called Sebastian and had a Jamaican accent, you'd help me." Wow. I'm usually not swept by the hype of newer Disney films, but this one had me intrigued and after seeing it, I gotta say that this is the best Disney movie in years! Hell, I'm ready to say that it's the best Disney movie since The Lion King. It was that good. The animation was breathtaking to look at and the overall setting of this movie is part of what makes it great. The characters are great as well with"
“I already watched this movie in the movie theater when it was released but, since it was available on Disney+, I was quite eager to check it out again. Not so long ago, I saw 'Zootopia' again as well and I was still amazed about how underwhelming the whole thing was. I mean, sure, I have to admit that it was still a decent watch but it was far from being one of the best Disney animated features I have seen but, somehow, it turned out to be a huge box-office success and, for a while, it was even the best movie released in 2016 according to IMDb (not anymore though). Well, I hoped this 2nd animated feature released by Disney during the same calendar year will crush 'Zootopia' because I thought it was so much better. I mean, sure, by now, we have been used by those guys to give us some stella” read more
