(OK) Christian-Jaque and Barrault have some passionate strong momentos as the stopping of the batle waving the red cross flag to cross the river; the Castiglione hospital; and the delicate scenes with the silent lovers...
The story of the Swiss soldier, Henri Dunant (Jean-Louis Barrault), who was responsible for the founding of the Red Cross, and who was offered the first Nobel Peace Prize.
