There are some great dramas from 2016, probably even better than the Lion, but this was the saddest for me, and that's kinda the most important thing when I watch some drama. And it's not only drama there are some funny and uplifting scenes too. Also the acting was great."

It’s a bit refreshing for a film that finds itself as a power player in the Oscar race. I doubt Lion will win much, but it’s quietness, it’s emotionally naked and honest performances are most welcome breathers between the louder entries in this year’s race. The Good & The Bad - Movies Watched In 2017 (472 movies items)"Lion is a truly exceptional movie and this story will stay with me forever. The casting, the story, the cinematography and the amazing music was done perfectly and I actually cannot fault this movie. The performances are all topnotch (especially Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman). It is mind blowing and makes you appreciate how lucky you are to have whatever it is you have in a seriously humbling way. If you appreciate good movies, this one is a must."
