"3 February. It is the perfect story of its kind—the search for identity and roots, made more meaningful with the plight of a 5-year old Indian boy, who as an adult fought against memory in order to find home. This is such a tearjerker. A once-in-a-lifetime role for Dev Patel, and he should relish this. It is unfortunate its director Garth Davis wasn’t nominated because he really told this story the best way possible. "

"January 31st Directed by: Garth Davis This feels like someone made a film based on a biography and just needed to hit all the big notes. Oh wait, that's what this is. I hate when people say "what was the point of this movie?" but that's kind of what I'm thinking here. I remember there being one point in the movie where I was thinking "hey, I like this" but I forgot what it was before it was even over. I feel nothing."
