Kingsman: The Golden Circle update feed
"October 18 "We've got brains, skills, skipping rope?" "It's a lasso." "Whatever." There was no way I was going to let this one leave theaters without seeing it first. I did however lower my expectations just a little bit since I heard a few people say it was disappointing, but I have to say that this is what I wanted from a Kingsman sequel. Matthew Vaughn's involvement in the sequel definitely helps as it has the same magic that the first Kingsman had. It has the same sense of humor that mad"
"First viewing - Sept. 23rd If you liked the first Kingsman, then you'll probably like this one too. Much like its predecessor it's got plenty of entertaining moments, does a fine job of balancing humor & action, and has a villain with clear motives that's also off-the-rails insane. It's also longer than it probably needed to be (and reading about the film afterwards I found out the original cut was over an hour longer, ouch), and never manages to surpass the first film. Part of my problems wi"
Goofy, insanely fun spy satire
“Disclaimer: It's tough to review Kingsman: The Golden Circle without divulging what some may consider to be spoilers. Even though the details in question were spoiled in the trailers, a spoiler warning is nevertheless in place.
Even though sequels have materialised for two of Matthew Vaughn's previous motion pictures, 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle denotes the first time that the filmmaker has returned to personally direct a follow-up to one of his own movies. A bold but distinctly organic-feeling sequel to 2015's Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Golden Circle is a goofy, enjoyable return to this world of post-modernist spy movie satire masterminded by comic-book writer Mark Millar. It's filled with flashy gadgets, bawdy humour, energetic ultraviolence, and an array of Oscar” read more

"22/9/17 The Kingsman are back with another explosive mission, this time joining forces with an American counterpart, The Statesman, to take on evil drug baron Julianne Moore who plans to hold the world to ransom. Suffering the same fate as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, in that the surprise has gone, it's still very entertaining and Elton John steals the film from the very starry cast."
“What an epic start to a great movie. It reminded me of the old school James Bond openings, but with modern effects and action. Really, the entirety of the Kingsman movies are the updated Roger Moore era James Bond films and I couldn't be happier. I definitely enjoy the Daniel Craig Bond, but there is definitely room for this style of spy movie as well.
After the great start, it continued strong. Action packed, funny, and over-the-top, it developed its story and villain and as well as new allies to the Kingsman seamlessly.
I appreciated Eggsy's relationship with his girlfriend. To me, it softened the poor lesson at the end of the first movie of seeing sex as a reward by making her more of a person than simply a trophy.
If I had to find fault, the climax felt we” read more

"Tomatometer Guess: 78%. Our favorite group of well-dressed secret agents (No offense, James Bond) is back to save the world yet again. Only this time, they're joining forces with their American counterparts, The Statesman. Will Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman be able to recapture the magic of the original, or will this not be "that kind of movie?" Actual Score: 50%. Though very entertaining and fun to watch, Kingsman: The Golden Circle suffers from the lost novelty of the original and is a bi"
" I liked the first film all right, but really don't need a sequel. Matthew Vaughn returning to the director's chair helps me feel a little better about the quality of this one, however, so perhaps I'll give it a chance. Until I see a trailer and/or some positive feedback on it though I'm not getting excited. UPDATED: It looks like more of the same, so my excitement level isn't much higher I'm afraid. The September release date doesn't help either, as studios tend to dump crap in September so th"
