"Paddy Considine's performance carries a mediocre film, which raises its quality considerably. Also a welcoming change for boxing movies that I've seen, which shows a physical but on this case a mental damage what such a brutal and dangerous sport can cause. And how to survive as well as learn to live with it."

"Dünya orta siklet boks şampiyonu olan Matty Burton, artık kariyerinin sonuna gelmiştir. Burton, son maçının parasını alıp artık oyundan çıkması gerektiğine karar verir. Hayatta tek bir amacı vardır o da eşi Emma ve gelecekti kızları Mia’ya güvenli bir hayat sağlamak. Fakat hayatın Matty için başka planları vardır. Fazla ağır tempoda ilerleyen spor/dram filminden istediğimi aldığımı söyleyemem. Olayları inceleme tarzı çok sığ olarak kalmış. Mükemmel o"

"What a performance from Paddy Considine acting and directing this film. Also the rest of the cast gave really good performances as well. One of the greatest sports drama films. "
