Here on Netflix again and so I decided to check this out. It was actually on my to watch list, but I forgot all about it. The plot sounds interesting. I find it amusing that no writer is credited. They probably wanted to hint at some sort of realism which is always a bit silly. You can't fool us filmmakers. Well most of us anyways. This seems to be the only Alastair Orr that's worth mentioning. Th... read more

Description: A group of five American friends on the cusp of adulthood travel to Panama to relax and party amid the exotic paradise. Befriending a local woman in their hotel bar, they learn of a pristine waterfall nearby, but also of the ominous legend of a monster inhabiting the expanse of unexplored jungle just outside their resort. Ignoring the warnings, they convince the woman to guide them to the picturesque falls. What begins as an innocent outing quickly turns frightening when she suddenly goes missing. As night closes in, the friends realize too late the truth behind the rumors—the legendary, blood-sucking Chupacabra is now stalkin ... (more)

Movies I've Watched in 2024 (So Far) (146 movies items)

"Watched on: May 4th, 2024. Pretty good. The Chupacabra creature looked great, I'm glad they went with a more practical version instead of relying on CGI. The gore effects were brilliant as well. The story itself... well, the characters aren't all that interesting and the plot itself is very predictable. Ending was.. what I expected. All 'n all, it's okay."

This seems to be the only Alastair Orr that's worth mentioning. The others he made don't seem to have much acknowledgment. Ah starting the film in the the thick of it to go back to before it all happened. So this is partially found footage. Well that was awkward. At least they make it so the found footage stuff makes sense. I swear people look for adventures in all the wrong places. See if it's not a good idea send the police don't go yourself! Ah man those are ” read more
