“I have been wanting to see this. I like the creativity of the whole thing. Besides I get a kick out of found footage. So when I saw they were doing a first person perspective type a thing I thought it was a nice touch. There was a part in the Doom film that did the same thing. I personally find it a fun and wheels off idea. This is Ilya Naishuller's directorial and writing debut. Will Stewart did one other film which I'm sure no one has heard of. Hardcore sounds about right with opening credits like that. There was still something quite beautiful about it though. I've never seen someone use a freaking windshield wiper to kill someone wow! "A first-person action movie from the POV of Henry, who's resurrected from death with no memory. He must save his wife from a telekinetic warlord with a plan to bio-engineer soldiers. Hardcore Henry is insane and ridiculous - it's just like playing a video game. It's over-the-top non-stop action and twisted offensive humour. Constant action has no interest for me if there is zero reason to care about the violence on the screen. It takes a first person shooter gimmick and turns it into a 90 minute movie with a plot so non existant I would rather watch someone play a video game as most modern games have more plot than this string of noises gives me. A few impressive scenes does not make this worth w"

"It has an admittedly shaky beginning, but overall, this is an intense, absolutely insane, and creative movie, with good camerawork, excellent stunts, and more than enough gory death scenes to pump up your testosterone. 7.3/10"
"When: April 7th First-Time Viewing: Yes. How: In theaters. What'd I Think?: Visceral, twisted, impressive, if a little too disorientating at the beginning. My Rating: 7/10 Other Notes: NA."
