“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was directed by Luca Guadagnino, I was quite eager to check it out. Well, since it was dealing with cannibalism, the damned thing was sometimes pretty gnarly but it was to be expected. I also wondered how it was possible that you had such ‘eaters’ among us, killing/eating people, without being noticed or hunted down by the police but I guess that’s a plot-hole also displayed by most vampire movies. It also seemed to be too easy for them to roam around the country with virtually no money. So, I’m not sure if the damned thing always made sense but it has been a while since I have seen such a beautiful romantic relationship.
