"22.3. 2020 An old couple is going to celebrate their marriage until they receive a letter that reveals something dramatic about their past. "45 Years" sounds like something Ingmar Bergman could've directed, but it is nothing like any Bergman film because it just recycles those old cliches we've seen in countless much better films. Nothing truly significant is told, and all in all the uneventful and bleak film feels like 90 minute build up to absolutely nothing."
