My Official 'Worst' to 'Best'!...
Noah (2014)
Already know a lil' bit about why this movie turned out so godawful (yes, I spelt it with a lower G), being based on a graphic novel and NOT the Bible!!! Many young kids who don't know better will be sadly -embarrassingly- force fed false information with this abominable piece of t-rex shit (what?)
Don't waste your time on this as my mom and I refer to it -"two and a half hours of our lives stolen from us (Aronofsky we fully intend to sue your ass!)"- a Biblical flood movie that suggests the Nephilim helped BUILD the ark??? Well if the Nephilim built the ark than what was the flood for? What the hell do you all think God was trying to drown?!? The Nephilim were chosen for extinction cause they were wicked giants and the offspring of Lucifer (leader of the Fallen Angels who mated with Earth women).
The movie seems to suggest that MAN is the cancerous shit, and that we deserve what we have comin' to us. Piece of propaganda if I ever did see one!

The Normal Heart (2014)
I lost count - is it really necessary to repeat the word 'gay' so excessively throughout the movie?! As if we're gonna forget, or miss it. Hmm, wonder why dem two straight fell'rs wanna make sex together like that? This movie is beyond redemption.
Vulgar, spiteful, grotesque, and not to mention deceitful. Has the misintention of using the 'right' kind of spirit the absolute 'wrong' way!...
Except maybe Matt Bomer (and that's a BIG maybe) not a single character I liked or found appealing, or could sympathize with. Avoid!

Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014)
Was intended as a parting ode to Ridley's brother Tony I suppose. But man, has Hollywood ever actually cracked open a Bible for themselves? (I know, stupid question...)
Bale portrays Moses here as a 'pragmatist', when we know full well this is not the case.
Moses was a magician, initiated by the pharaoh priests. In all honesty, he was a politician - it would have been much more accurate to suggest Moses was the only Hebrew who believed in God. Moses had to campaign real fucking hard to convince these delusional sheeple (sheep+people) to believe he really could perform miracles.
Does anybody realize that according to the Hebrew Old Testament, the Hebrews were apparently pagans before Moses came along. In the original Hebrew Bible every utterance of the word God is replaced with Elohim. Which loosely translated refers to the descendants of El. Who is El you ask, who knows? the point is, Elohim was referenced in the plural, it was Moses who came along and after receiving the Pentateuch in the desert, instructed all his people to stop worshiping Elohim and instead follow Yahweh - which according to Jordan Maxwell can be VERY loosely translated into English to refer to a release (ideally spiritual but Maxwell suggests it can also refer to a male's ejaculation!) What do you expect, recent archeological discoveries have uncovered that the Hebrews of Moses time were trippin' balls on mushrooms during the desert exodus...

Big Hero 6 (2014)
Kind of reminds me of "the Incredibles" - yet another movie I was only luke warm about. Entertaining if you got nothing better to do, but hardly inspiring. Animation's really slipping these days at the cinema...

Perhaps it's a little too soon to post this, but if you're reading this later in the year or early in 2015 it will probably make more sense. This is my annual evaluation of all the cinematic work of 2014. From the worst pieces of crap I had the misfortune of sitting through to the very best of the year and what I deem of all time in the long run.
Please feel free to comment whether you agree with me or disagree. I hope my readers will all be able to take something of intrinsic value away from my brief comments. For anything further or more in-depth I will probably save for whenever I get around to it in my 3003 Movies list reviews. For now this will act as my brief, quick review journal of what I see as the year progresses. Thank yous in advance to everyone for stopping in and taking a look.
(On a personal note: I have a lot going on in my personal life, so reviews might not come around lickity-split, but if anyone has any requests or recommendations I will surely see what I can do. Thanx all:D...)
