Collection: What Was I Thinking?

FROM MY COLLECTION, my "what the heck?!" movies. This is going to be an interesting list and to understand it, you have to understand a little bit about my movie buying persona. I rarely, if ever, rent movies (or check them out from the library). Most of the movies I buy are used/previously owned and purchased from pawn shops, secondhand stores, or from the $5 bin from WalMart. From these places of purchase, I usually browse what is available and buy movies based on the cover and the summary on the back. 9 times out of 10, I don't regret my choice to buy any particular movie, but that 1 time out of 10, even I am negatively surprised by the movie. Bearing in mind that I like to shop off the beaten path of movies (particularly in the horror genre), I know that many of the movies I purchase are what would be classified as B-grade or even C-grade and I walk into those with my eyes wide open, knowing that they won't be up to Hollywood's big blockbuster standards, but, let's just say that I have regrets about buying them.

NOTE: There may be one or two in here that I think are well done films and I rate them high (5-7 range), but, if given another chance to buy them, I would actually pass. And, there are several films that I have rated low that aren't on this list, because they were exactly what I expected (and they may each have one redeeming quality about them).
