COMMENTS: I don't actually own this movie; I watched it on TV. It was a great story about how the Christmas carol "Silent Night" came into being. The characters were quite likeable, too. My favorite scene was where the woman (can't remember her name) is rousing Antoine out of bed and off to church.

COMMENTS: Let's be honest, this is not a Christmas movie by any standard, but it was the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, so it was my way of honoring those that were affected by the attack 75 years ago.

COMMENTS: I don't actually own this movie either; my parents were watching it on TV and I just happened to be hanging out in the same room for the duration of the movie. I may have ended up watching it just because Amy Acker was in it. Cute movie, though, but didn't really get me into the Christmas spirit.

COMMENTS: It was time for another Christmas classic in my lineup. Last year, I actually planned out my entire Christmas season of movie watching... This year, I'm just going based on what I feel like watching each night.

COMMENTS: Naturally, I had to follow Home Alone with Home Alone 2. That will be the extent of my Home Alone viewing. Once they went another direction without the loveable characters, the franchise dropped off at lightning speed.

COMMENTS: Yet another movie that is not a Christmas movie, but my parents had tickets to a private screening and I was going to see it at some point, so I figured why not. Pretty good. Hails back to the wonder that came with the original. I did also like that they set it in a tropical location, which, until watching this movie, I realize was sorely lacking from all seven episodic films. This was a fantastic movie, just not one to get me in the Christmas spirit.

COMMENTS: Given that I just watched the new Star Wars film, I decided it was finally time to follow it up with the holiday special that I had never seen before (my uncle said it could easily be found on YouTube). I feel like I need brain bleach. That was just awful. I did a little research and I can't find a good reason why this movie was ever made, especially with the whole cast.

COMMENTS: Funny story. I put a movie into the player and my sister asked if we were watching a Christmas movie. I said it had a Christmas song in it. We then proceeded to watch Jurassic World. :)
