Trent Reznor is the founder and only constant member of the industrial rock group Nine Inch Nails. Since the start of the band and the release of their first album Pretty Hate Machine in 1989 the band has evolved to be one of the most influential bands of the genre, not only reaching main stream success, but also pioneering new ways to distributing music after the split from their major record label in 2007.
