2009 Movies

Some drama, some humor and a lot of great characterization makes for an excellent film in this dramatization of the historic interview.

The Dirty Dozen, except in French and the team is composed mainly of women.

Sadly all the charm and fun has been sucked out of this movie.

On the one hand, Richard Gere is hot but that doesn't make up for the lack of logic in this movie.

Popcorn entertainment without any long term value.

I don't get why normally sane women would become so tragically insane when a wedding approaches.

Violent and cheesy.

Epic. There were two distinct movies in this one. Outback adventure and outback love drama.

Vikings + Aliens makes for an unlikely movie but this was much better than Pathfinder.

This was a lot more interesting than the previous Underworld movies but still not good enough.

It's highly ridiculous but still a fun way to spend a lazy afternoon.

~ I never knew thousands of people hid in the Russian forests during WWII. Good film though dragged on by focusing on romance.

~ Even though I knew the outcome of the movie I was still on the edge of seat hoping they would succeed in their plot.

~ There's a good movie beneath all the long overdrawn scenes.

~ By-the-numbers thriller. Boring.

~ What does a dude have to do to get his $75,000 back? Kill lots and lots of people.

A terrible rip-off of The Abyss. Just plain BAD!

~ I don't understand the hype surrounding this movie.

~ Isn't this movie supposed to be about Wolverine? Why so many other characters?

~ Visually stunning. Wonderful acting. An unexpected delight.

~ The directors and the writers screwed the pooch on this movie.

~ It may not have the moral conflict of what you'd expect from Star Trek but this was a highly enjoyable, action-packed, funny movie.

~ The only excuse I have for watching this movie is that I was on a long boat ride and there was nothing better to do. I found the humor incredibly offensive.

~ I had fun watching "The Proposal" but this could have been soooo much better.
