Tetris - Famicom and NES
I know Tetris is extremely influential and creative, but I prefer the Tetris influenced games like Dr. Mario, Puyo Puyo, and even Puzzle Bobble more.

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom - PC Games
Like Braid, you'll be manipulating time to solve puzzles. Unlike Braid, the game doesn't have serious themes like the atomic bomb or a domineering obsession about a woman. A Victorian gentlemen who loves pies travels through time for an elusive pie. It's charming and the puzzles are challenging enough, but those who want a compelling story may find the main character and the game a bit lacking. I recommend Braid more than this game.

If you want a Wii party game for adults I suggest WarioWare: Smooth Moves or a Mario Party game.
