We seem to have a sick fascination with excessive numbers of deaths in fictional stories we share as entertainment. This List is an homage to these bad movies. I am guilty of enjoying some of these movies. This list will mostly avoid war movies that are based on true events. Those movies could legitimately claim to represent high body counts for valid reasons. But movies where the deaths are implausible or unnecessary or unlikely based on the circumstances and settings will be included here. I worry that these fictional portrayals will influence unbalanced people with low self control to do crazy things in the real world.
