Just a little bit more information on the awards given at the Cannes Film Festival.
My main interest in the Cannes Film Festival is looking for new and emerging directors. The award I'm always the most curious about is the Caméra d'Or, which is awarded to the best first feature film. The Caméra d'Or can be awarded to any film in the parallel selections. So, that covers far more then just what is screened at the Cannes as it covers the "Directors' Fortnight" and "International Critics' Week" as well.
