Over-rated films IMHO

yeah well its all a bit meh - apart from Summer Glau looking very cute this was a snooze fest riding on the coattails of Joss Whedons Buffy fame

its better than average but there are only 2 things which stop this being crap - the chestburster scene and the Giger alien design (though thats very lazy when you have seen his stuff) Its Hammer House Of Horror in space most of the time

Arnies back and he just has to be the good guy and its all really not that good

John Travolta dancing, and weird ass dialogue doesnt make a good movie

Reservoir Dogs was very good but lets face it this film is just BS

as some critic said Tarantino makes films about films and have very little connection with reality

For a comedy horror this failed to deliver the appropiate things in each genre namely laughs and scares - mildly amusing only

very dated laughable "thriller" . soundtrack IS great though

I could hammer this film to death as to how bad it is...I must be the only person to prefer the first half of the film where its nicely set up and then its absurd horror time in the second half - I have NO problem with absurdity if its being played for laughs like in Human Centipede 2...even the torture at the end is lame

I could go on but its not that good a film...surprisingly for a so called disturbing film its quite tame

utter pretentious slow BS typical of David Lynch making it up as he goes along to appear "mysterious" and "enigmatic"
Critics loved this for some unknown reason.

Good photography was the best, no, the only good thing about this
