I've been a fan of this show for a few years now and I dedicate my Sunday nights to it. Its had its ups and down, this most recent season I've felt has been massively better than the last two. Scott Gimple, the new show-runner, has produced some of the best episodes for the show, including the episodes where Shane killed Otis, Sophia's final death, Morgan's reintroduction, Merle's death, and most recently Carol putting Lizzie down like Old Yellar, so I'm really hoping he sticks around. There's been a lot more character development this season, I've really begun to feel for the cast again so I know tomorrow (the season finale) is probably going to break my heart.

UPDATE: Well I really enjoyed the series finale! They borrowed a lot from the comics including the moment Rick ripped that guys jugular out with his teeth and no-one died! Which is pretty amazing since a lot of shows have really begun to rely on final episode deaths. I can't wait until next season to find out what happens and I'll definitely be tuning in to the new show too.

UPDATE: SEASON 5! The premier started off with a bang, both literally and figuratively. Episode 2 lagged a little but really pulled through in the end and though I'm not attached to Bob in anyway I am sad that he took Dale's role from the comics. All in all I'm so excited for this season and I'm really happy right now for how its panning out!

UPDATE: Mid-Season Finale! Okay now I'm just angry. I feel like Beth had just begun to come into her own character and she just got moved out of the way so we can continue watching stupid dragged on story lines about Maggie and Glenn's 'love story'. Neither of them have had ANY character development for two whole season, "Awww look how much Maggie and Glenn love each other, its like Romeo and Juliet except with zombies". Maggie miraculously remembered that she knows more people than Glenn this episode and she actually has a sister, her scene at the end when she breaks down just didn't ring true at all. Now Daryl brought it home, could actually feel that emotion. With Beth gone this half-season has officially ended with all the hope disappearing for the group, which lets be honest was the intention the entire time with the Washington sub-plot. For the first time I'm going to have trouble going back to The Walking Dead, hopefully by February I'll be feeling a little more optimistic about the show.

UPDATE: So the current half seasons actually going pretty well, the first episode was pretty brutal but it was well done and a good send off for Tyrese. I was still mad about the whole Noah thing especially when he looked like he was going to be useless. Yet somehow, maybe the acting or maybe the writing, he managed to blend into the group pretty well in the last episode that he died in. I was actually pretty sad about his horrifying, gory death but that may have been part of my residual anger and murderous intent for that coward who caused the entire thing. I felt so sorry for Glenn too, Noah and Aiden were his first losses. I'm glad that Eugene's started taking more initiative too and hope he can become someone the group can depend on though giving his heroics I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make it through the finale. The preacher needs to go down in flames in the finale for selling out the group and trying to save his own neck.

LATE UPDATE: Just realized I never updated this for the finale. Over all I really enjoyed the finale, everything really came together and tied off the end of the season pretty well plus Morgan's back with the group! The scene with him saving Daryl and Aaron was awesome but his reunion with Rick didn't go as well. Have I mentioned I love Aaron? Great addition to the cast and I hope he sticks around for a while. On the other hand my hatred for Carol seems to grow with every episode. She's a giant liability to the group and her baiting of Pete could have driven him to do a lot worse then what he actually tried to do.

Update: Late, late, late update. Okay the plot with the giant herd of Zombies in the first half of the season was actually pretty interesting. We once again see people who've been protected from the outside world being thrust full-force into the calamity outside. Its a throw-back to early seasons when the group was more like a load of chickens with their heads cut-off than the wolf pack they've become today. Of course, Jessie and her kids got axed in the mid-season première and the next episode Rick recovers from his loss and him and Michonne do some sweet love-making. We meet a hippy looking dude who knows martial arts and goes by the name Jesus. He's pretty hot. Oh and Negan's finally coming.... soon, not now. Probably in the mid-season finale. Maybe.

Did I also mention that Melissa McBride is actually making me like Carol again? The change in her in the last few episodes has been amazing after her totally balls-to-the-walls psychosis, everyone whose against us must die, shtick. I like the way that Morgan's character is meshing with hers and how after seeing the Wolf save Denise after she shot him has made her question her earlier beliefs. The last episode with her and Maggie has to be one of my favourites to date.

Lucifer (2016)
Lucifer's a gorgeous entertaining show that I can definitely recommend for those who enjoy both detective and comic book themed shows alike. Tom Ellis who plays our titular (anti-)hero has done an amazing job bringing the character to life in a charmingly dangerous fashion.

Props to the leading ladies: Lauren German who plays a great foil for Lucifer's character, and Lesley-Ann Brandt who really turns the heat up and plays a truly terrifying character in Lucifer's right-hand woman Maze.

Yes, at this point I kinda agree that they're really running out of things to kill. I still find this show so entertaining! I love Dean and Sam, Dean more than Sam (he's a tad too whiny sometimes); Cass is seriously the best; I still miss Bobby!, and I wish Benny had stuck around for longer (there was way more they could have done with that storyline). I've caught up with the season now and I'm finding this one much more enjoyable than the last few, it seems like they're going back to basics. I'm not sure about the spin-off but I'll give it a chance if it gets picked up.

Update: The spin-off got cancelled! I didn't think the episode was amazing by any measure but I thought the premise might be interesting. Its too bad.

So Dean's a demon for like two episodes.... then he's cured. Anti-climactic much? I'm not sure what Hannah's role in the series was. Her and Cas were clearly developing feelings for one another and then... she returned to Heaven because she felt bad for her vessel. Some triumphant returns this season for Kate the Werewolf and Claire [Jimmy's daughter]. I really enjoyed Kate's episode and hope they make her a more regular character, maybe she can join Garth's pack or something. All in all the half season has been good, Rowena is a good edition to the cast even if I hope she's a fleeting one. Crowley ain't no-ones bitch.

UPDATE: Yay Crowley! Is is strange that Dean and Crowley are fast becoming one of my favourite pairs in the show? That scene at the bar where Crowley talked to Dean instead of getting pissy because Sam tried to kill him was awesome. Also come on, I know that Crowley's the king of Hell and has put the Winchester's through a lot but shouldn't Sam be counting his blessings that right now he seems to be on their side? Then again Sam has the rationality of a baby squirrel. I mean lets be honest, for the last few seasons Crowley's been a better friend to Dean then Sam has been.

Anyway, I'm pretty sad that the Styne's didn't last longer in the show. The family could have been explored in a lot more depth and while I'm sure that another branch will pop up in some future arc, it was just over way too fast. Cyrus was used as a simple plot point to show how much Dean had been affected by having the mark. I think that the lead-up to Charlie's death was ridiculous, the idea that she'd strike out of her own when people were hunting her was well ridiculous. Charlie's not a moron, people.

The ending was the icing on the cake on a somewhat disastrous season, as soon as Dean was told to kill Sam to save mankind I knew the end was nigh. Then he killed Death instead and I was like NOOOOOO! First Cain (who was acted ridiculously well) and now Death? Why are you picking off the best characters? Obviously as the lead-up to the next season where I'm presuming they'll finally let Michael and Lucifer out of the cage. Does that mean Mark Pellegrino will be back? We can only hope.

Update: So, Dean and Sam have once again doomed humanity. Proving once again that they may actually be worse for humans than the majority of the monsters they hunt are. So Sam is full of angst this season, finally feeling guilty after abandoning Dean to purgatory and settling down several seasons ago. What else is happened: Lucifer's out of the cage and he and Cas are now one, not in a romantic way. Crowley got turned into a bitch but turned Luci's plan on him and managed to escape. Lol Crowley. Rowena's dead, like forevers... or until its necessary for her to be back. Michael apparently lost the plot in the cage and won't be back. No one cares about Adam, you know... The Winchester's younger half-brother whose soul is still trapped in the cage? Yeah, you probably forgot about him too.

I wasn't really sure about this show at first, I do like Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island so I though I'd give it a try for that reason alone. The humour is just spot-on, Captain Holt is my favourite character in so many ways. I thought I would dislike Gina more at first but I feel like they've really made the characters empathetic and it makes it a lot easier to deal with the sometimes blatant stupidity that they exhibit.

Update: I wasn't sure they'd be able to carry over the hilarity of the first season over to the second but they managed to pull it off.

The second season, though not quite as good as the first is actually still pretty hilarious. Definitely worth a try if you were into the first.

Update: The third season is still going strong. Jake and Amy are together but the relationship hasn't soured the series in any way. Still worth it for people are looking for a good laugh.

Face Off (2011)
I think the thing that really makes me just adore Face Off is the spirit of competition every single season. There's (generally) no gigantic arguments or dramatic pricks making the whole show just toxic and frustrating to watch. These people are professionals and every season I'm so impressed with the work that they do. Plus Michael Westmore.

Update: I wanted Tyler to win because he was a genuinely amazing, visionary artist but Rashad also deserved it.

Update: Well since we're already to the final three I guess I should say something about this series: I hope Sig wins, he's a great visionary artist and has done several different styles, I'll admit to being shocked by how good his beauty make-up was but he definitely deserved props for putting his best foot forward. I do like Dinah and I wouldn't be disappointed if she won too though.

Update: Dinah won, I think in the finale that Drew actually had the best make-ups, they fit together and made sense way more than Sig's or Dinah's but Dinah won a crap-ton of challenges so she deserved it.

Update: Its too early to say much about this season. I think there's some incredible talent amongst their numbers but the only stand-out so far has been Ben who out of the last three episodes has had the top look twice! I felt bad for some of the couples getting married, they had absolutely atrocious costumes. Oh and Kevon is way too high maintenance. Dude freaks out way too easily and gets aggressive. With the others being generally professional, his antics really stand out.

Update: As I have not updated in a while. I really liked Ben but by the end of the season I think the best artist won so congrats to Nora. On to the current season. Its pretty much Rob's to lose at this point. Am I the only one who thinks that Rob looks like a dwarf?

Scream Queens (2015)
I am in love with the series! Seriously. I probably died laughing at least once an episode. Emma Roberts was the undisputed star, even as she competed with absolute superstar Jamie Lee Curtis, and with her (and the rest of the cast) returning for next season I feel really confident in the future of the show.

Now as for the rest of the cast Lea Michele was amazing and very convincing in her role as m-fing psycho killer. Having watched her in Glee I wasn't aware of her wide range but she really did come off as a manipulative, blood-thirsty, heartless monster. Nasim Pedrad was also a surprising amazing casting in another twisted role. Niecy Nash was also an amazing addition, possibly having the funniest moments in the show.

While I wasn't initially a fan of the Dickie's, I actually found myself loving all their scenes. Surely but steadily Chad Radwell became one of my favourite characters. The epic "calling you out Red Devil" scene will live in my memory forever.

Jamie Lee Curtis is Jamie Lee Curtis, her role in the show was vastly different and showed a lot more of her dark side then previous shown.

All in all, the show was amazing. Hilarious and one of my new favourites.

I dare-say that with the fast-pacing of FTWD's episodes that it may be better in a lot of ways than its sister show. I'm not sure that'll be continuing in the next season as more episodes are slated so the pace might slow a bit but the first season as least, is a do not miss.

Frank Dillane came out of no-where but played easily the most likeable and sympathetic character in the show. You watch Nick's struggle with drug addiction throughout the first season, a difficult subject that even with the over-arching plot was handled and played very well by Dillane and the supporting cast. Rubén Blades was also a marvellous choice as Daniel, a man struggling to keep his family alive and resorting to extremes to do so.

I'm looking forward to the next season to seeing how the rest of the characters grow.

I tried to watch the first few episodes of season one when it first came out and lost interest pretty quickly, I finally watched it on Netflix, both the first and second seasons. Truthfully I loved the second season much more than the first. I'm not sure I'll enjoy season three, I like the idea of exploring the coven angle but certain elements in the show that season might put me off.

Update; I watched Coven and though I didn't love it as much as Asylum, I really did enjoy it. Emma Roberts is a better actress then I gave her credit for, she plays raging bitch pretty well. Of course Jessica Lange is still the star, seriously that women makes the whole show. Lily Rabe and Taissa Farmiga were also amazing this season. I think this was also the first season that I actually loved Sarah Paulson too. Kathy Bates played a great sympathetic racist bitch (until the end when she totally deserved her death).

I watched the first episode of Freak Show and it didn't resonate with me, I'll give it more time so hopefully I'll get into it.

Update: So I just skipped Freak Show and went on to Hotel and the whole season was amazing. I wasn't crazy about the idea of Lady Gaga but she definitely made the role her own. She, Matt Bomer, Kathy Bates, and Denis O'Hare were dynamic and made the entire season. If only Jessica Lange would come back and melt my mind with awesomeness. Evan Peters also deserves a lot of credit for playing a believable psycho. The plot throughout may not have been the strongest but the style of feel of the whole season kept me hooked.

Can't wait for Season 7.

Sherlock (2010)
Okay, I'm a big Cumberfan so this series can pretty much do no wrong. The last season I just didn't completely feel though, so it was pretty disappointing, especially with only three movie-length episodes to cling hopelessly on too until they decide to grace us with their heavenly love again. Still a fan, just a little disappointed is all.

Dark Matter (2015)
One of the better Syfy series that have came out in a while. Dark Matter has a pretty generic premise, some people come out of stasis and can't remember anything about their pasts. It is an entertaining show, the cast play well off each other and there's enough chemistry to make a lot of the early relationships work.

I am, personally, not a fan of One. He's a huge dick but tries to come off as the moral compass of the group. Aside from him though I actually like the rest of the crew and look forward to going through their back stories and watching the story grow.

Update: The entire season was enjoyable and all of the characters became more likeable as the show went on. I saw the traitor from a mile away but the reveal was still well played and I can't wait for the next season!!!!

The Expanse (2015)
I enjoyed the show but found it impossible to binge-watch so it took quite a while for me to finish it. While not one of my favourites I did enjoy the mystery that culminated in the final episode with the two sets of main characters meeting up.

I'll give the next season a shot.

Archer (2009)
Archer is my go-to comedy. I just absolutely love the humour and all of the characters, except Pam. Everyone's so absolutely flawed but together there's just something perfect about them. I'm liking the new take in this new season, I miss ISIS though and I want to punch Pam every time she eats the cocaine.

Update: I was totally expecting the revelation but Archer's reaction was just too hilarious. Baby Abbiejean will certainly take the show in a different direction.

So now it's back. The first episode was amusing, they definitely kept the humour and I'm looking forward to Archer being a father. Hopefully baby Abbie won't end up with a tattoo.

Well the season had a lot of really great moments and episodes. The Area 51 episode was hilarious as was the one concerning the Durhani royal family. Poor Ray, as usual.

I love Doctor Who, its one of those shows that never really gets old. I hated Amy. The last season she actually starred in it was pretty much "The Amy Show Co-Starring Doctor Who".... so you can imagine my upset when she came back when the doctor was regenerating, yeah I know she was there with him from the beginning but he married her daughter, WHERE THE HELL WAS RIVER? I'm enjoying Clara right now though her whole "always being there" storyline was far-fetched. Peter Capaldi's a great actor so I'm looking forward to seeing how he'll tackle the role.

I was so sad that Matt Smith left but I feel like Capaldi is really bringing a new zest for the role. Smith began to explore the doctor's dark side but Capaldi has really dove into it and brought back the old feel that the doctor had before the new series began. Still I'm a little miffed at Clara this season, she just seems to have changed so much, not a big fan of Danny because he just seems like a haphazard love interest thrown in for some drama. Only time will tell how this season turns out but I really love the new doctor.

So, the finale was..... disappointing. Firstly I wasn't really happy with the new Master, I felt like the whole thing was more of a show-boat and he had zero character development. Pretty much just insane and devoted to corrupting the doctor. Great. The scottish woman giving the tip-off made me suspicious and I just hope to God their not trying to bring Amy back. Oh and yeah... Father Christmas.

Update: The last season had mostly great episodes.... aside from that mess dealing with the Sandman. I enjoyed Clara's send-off and genuinely hope we'll never see her again.... in a good way. Its been a while since we've had a good male companion and I hope that the next season goes that way.

Masterchef (2010)
As a cooking deficient person this show blows my mind. I watched the junior version last year and it made me ill how amazing these people are at cooking and baking and everything else that making food entails. Plus I'm a Ramsey fan so I'll watch almost everything he makes (minus Hell's Kitchen).

Update: Like every year the drama in Masterchef is almost enough to detract from the amazing culinary feats that the contestants pull off. I like a few of the contestants this year and hope they make it to the end: Ahran, Christian, Jaimee, and Victoria plus Scottish Francis but he's not in the game any more and there's those I really dislike quite a lot: Leslie acts like a 18 year old girl seriously, he needs to stop picking fights and just cook. Its embarrassing to watch. I'm not sure how Cutter's still there, not because he's not a decent chef but because he seriously talked back to the judges and was a total dick about it. Courtney's attitude is off-putting.

Update: So Courtney won.... though truthfully Elizabeth's cunty remarks in the last episode made me almost glad.

Update: Jesus this years contestants... what a train-wreck. I went off Katrina pretty early on and haven't managed to start liking her again. I liked Hethal for a while too but her constant whiny about being a vegetarian and not knowing stuff and breaking down is really pissing me off. Bri (S6) spoiled me on how good vegetarian cooks can do meat without tasting it and she didn't friggin' whine all the time either. I actually had to chuckle when she lost the veggie challenge. Tommy I can get over, he's sometimes entertaining and some of his dishes look amazing. Stephen, I'm up and down on but lately with how aggressively he's been going after Derek, I just can't like him. Derek's big-headed but at least he's got the talent to back it up. I hope Claudia or Nick win.... probably Nick.

Update: Claudia won! Yay! I do have a bit of criticism in that she only ever cooks Mexican dishes but I can get over it. She was an amazing contestant throughout the contest.
People who added this item 198 Average listal rating (141 ratings) 6.4 IMDB Rating 6.8
I can't believe the level of talent that SYTYCD delivers every year! The way the contestants sometimes effortlessly grasp the different styles truly is amazing. It seems year after year the contemporary dancers get more and more popular and they continue to win the seasons, I'm not sure if its based on talent or favouritism any more. Either way all the contestants are amazing so its a great show to watch.

Update: I really love the contestants this year and I've mostly agreed with the people who have went home though I did love Serg and Carly. I'm hoping that Ricky or Tanisha takes home the prize.

Update: Yay Ricky! Another amazing season!

Update: So I hate the set-up for this season. 'Stage vs. Street' were 10 stage and 10 street dancers compete in the top 20. The part I dislike is that until the live rounds neither Stage nor Street will have to learn the others styles which means we'll have a lot more duds then usual in the live rounds. My favourites so far; Jim, Gaby, and Jaja. The B-Boys were absolutely atrocious in competition and should never have been allowed into the top 20. Asaf is particular I wanted to punch when he asked if he could not learn certain moves.

Update: Well all three made it to the top four so yay! Congrats to Gaby who was an absolute star throughout the entire competition. I can only hope that next season won't have this kind of stupid theme. I'm not sure about "The Next Generation" as generally it takes dancers at least a decade to truly master their art but there are always exceptions to the rule... like Maddie Ziegler.

Need to Catch-Up On

People who added this item 506 Average listal rating (301 ratings) 7.7 IMDB Rating 7.6
I'm only one episode in... its a fairly new show I might watch the next one tomorrow. Initial thoughts are that the acting is a little wooden at times, the storyline seems a bit predictable, but I'm enjoying the premise and its still a baby so I'm going to see how this goes.

UPDATE: I think this shows begun to come into its own, the death in the last episode was pretty shocking but I'm glad they didn't dance around that gigantic problem. This might be moved soon!

UPDATE 2: It got moved up to 'obsession', I really like how they've handled this show and how the characters handle their problems. I was kinda expecting Clark and Raven to go two rounds with each other over Finn but both handled the situation very well.

UPDATE: Well the season finale was really solid and I would probably recommend this show to anyone who wanted something fun, and sometimes dark, to indulge in for a while. I think it could be really big if they continue what they've been doing this season.

Update: Season 2 has begun, Clark sliced her arm open the first episode so we'll see how this all pans out. Personally I agree with Clark and don't understand how cool everyone is with suddenly being held prisoner by these randomers.

Holy crap, I can not say enough good things about the half-season finale. Finn's dead! I was so glad they didn't pussy out and make the sky people go to war with the grounders after Finn murdered a load of people in cold blood. Sure he was looking for Clarke but you can't really justify shooting up a whole village of women, children, and the elderly. Anyone else sense some chemistry between Abbey and the grounder doctor Nyko? In more depressing news... I'm pretty damn sure we're losing Monty this season After losing Harper to Cage and Tsing, I can only assume the rest of the kids still locked up in Mount Weather are next. Except Jasper, he's too much of a moron to die. I'm assuming its gonna be revealed soon that Maya is Cage's daughter and is manipulating Jasper for her father. Also soon to be R.I.P. to Dante, he wasn't as bad a guy as I thought he'd be.

Update: Okay I was wrong about Maya, sorry Maya and R.I.P., she was actually a very decent person. Every season I fall more in love with this show. The build up to the season finale was amazing. I love both Clarke and Lexa for the exact same reason, they both do whats needed for their own people. Yes, I was mortified when Lexa accepted Dante's deal and left Clarke in the dust with the 100 still trapped inside Mount Weather but it was amazing! Given the same situation I'm pretty sure Clarke would have done the same.

Before getting to how the season ended, I also want to say how much I actually enjoyed the Jaha/Murphy plot-line. I was sure the entire season that Murphy was just waiting for his moment to go all psycho-killer on people again but I was once again proven wrong. Murphy might be the only one who can stop crazy Jaha! I'm sure Clarke will wander her way over in that direction at some point too.

As for the finale episode, well Clarke performed genocide on the people in the mountain. Did she have a choice? Only if she was willing to sacrifice her own people to Cage who had single-handedly guided the entire place into crazy-town. Seriously though, who the hell takes that gamble? There's a chick in the control room with the ability to murder us all by stopping the air filtration, better operate on her unwilling friends and mother and hope that she doesn't have the balls to kill us all. The saddest thing is they could have made a deal to have bone marrow transplanted into the children of the mountain so they had a chance to live on the outside but they were all too m-fing selfish to give up their own chance.

Teen Wolf (2011)
Teen Wolf is easily the best thing on MTV. I'm a bit of a supernatural-esque series fan so this of course is something I enjoy! This season was amazing, Alison dies which I was kinda expecting but with how the shows been up to this point wasn't actually sure they'd go through with. The last episode really upset me I really liked the twins and was really hoping they'd assimilate into Scott's pack and Kate Argent is so played out at this point! Bring back Deucalion or get someone new, please! so I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel about this series when the next season rolls around. We'll be finding out in June though! Its so nice to have such a quick turn-over.

Update: I really love this new season, at first I had my doubts because Liam seemed like he was going to be an annoying, snappy, brooding teenage prick but his character really began to turn around after his initial appearance. I also kinda enjoy the new plot-line focusing on the hit-list and the numerous assassins who are out to get the many supernatural residents of Beacon Hills. Plus Stiles finally got a real girlfriend so yay!

Update: This season started off really strong, the introduction of the dread doctors was well-done and actually pretty frightening. Also seeing Lydia being held captive in Eichen was pretty intense and you were really hoping that the pack was going to swoop in and save her. I was kinda excited to see Kelsey Chow appear on the show and I wish she'd had a larger role. Honestly I find the whole Hayden storyline unnecessary, it feels like they really just wanted Liam to have a love interest and she's honestly just unlikable.

If Theo were being played by a better actor then I think the character would shine a lot more. He's such a good villain for the show but he's acted so woodenly and lets be honest most of the acting isn't great so if you stand out for being too wooden.... it's saying something. I hate the storyline that is evolving between him and Malia, its true that Stiles is causing some of the strain on his and Malia's relationship but Theo's definitely becoming a thing. I really liked Parrish last season but with his time being cut he's coming off as really one dimensional this time around. I like Lydia, I am (not) Phoenix, I steal bodies, I am cop. I'm not a fan of Stiles and Lydia as a couple so I'll be sad if the show is headed that way. Malia and Parrish were good additions to the story and last season did a lot more with their growing relationships.

I am enjoying all the flashbacks and how things seem to finally coming together for the Desert Wolf to make her appearance.

Update: I've found it really hard getting into the new episodes. The flashs-around make it really annoying to follow. As I mentioned before... not a big fan of Stiles and Lydia but thats a minor annoyance. A few episodes behind need to binge-watch...

I watched the first episode a few years ago, got mad that they were making a twilight series and stopped watching. I got told several times it wasn't like Twilight so I went back and binge watched the first few seasons. I concede that I was wrong and when Elena finally stopped talking her diary entries it got a lot easier to love. Plus the Mikaelson family are so amazing, I really wish that Mikael, Finn, and Kol hadn't died so quickly! I'm an Elena/Damon fan by the way, so this season is going to murder my hope. I'll be binge-watching this probably because I'm now caught up on Supernatural.

Okay so, binge-watched on Netflix and I'm quite pleased with a few things, firstly OMG Alaric is BACCCK! I was so sad when Matthew Davis left the role but I think I might be able to forgive him now he's back, too bad Aunt Jenna couldn't make an appearance too. I'm also glad Enzo's still around though I'm not sure how long that is going to last. Katherine is finally (and hopefully forever) put to rest. Caroline and Stefan are one step closer to getting together!! Now for the things I hate: Elena wiped her memory of loving Damon, Stefan is being a dick and has given up on getting Damon and Bonnie back from the other side, WTF is Kai?, the traveller arc was way too short (so much more they could have done with them), WTF is Sarah?, and finally Tyler's no longer a vampire. Hoping things will start looking up soon.

Okay so things started getting back to normal and then Kai kidnapped Elena. I'm not really that into Kai as a villain, he's just a whiny sophiopathic douchebag. Did they really end the Traveller's arc so quickly for this? I hope he's gone soon so someone more interesting can show up.

UPDATE: Jumping to the end of the season! Okay so I'm really happy about the inclusion of Lily in the show, she and the Heretics will be really interesting to watch next season. Once again Alaric's curse has taken the woman that he loved and this time the twins that they would have had. Poor Ric can't catch a break but Jo was doomed from the start. I was really upset when we lost Luke earlier in the show because the character held a lot of potential and I think he would have been more interesting then Kai moving forward, I didn't care much for Liv by the time she went out because she'd fallen into storyline obscurity but I was sad for poor Tyler who triggered his curse to put her out of her misery.

Elena turned back into a human and Damon decided to join her so that they could live a beautiful suburban life together. Then Kai turned her into sleeping beauty and our new angst adventure begins. Love this season; Damon/Elena = 0, Stefan/Caroline = 0, Alaric/Jo = 0, Tyler/Liv = 0, Jeremy/Bonnie = 0. Pack your bags people, love is dead.

I knew this was a stupid show going in but it didn't stop me from getting hooked. I watched the first three seasons but can't bring myself to continue. Why? The whole thing crossed into insanity half way through season one and everything after that would never have happened.

Aria's also a incredibly frustrating character, its pretty obvious that the show runner loves her because practically nothing ever happens to her but she still bitches about her "terribly awful" life because her and her boyfriend are in trouble. Jesus, its not like your friends are being tortured or anything.

Update: Okay so I did it, I binged both season 4 and 5 and have kept up to date with season 6. I need not your pity. I have to say that last season took it up like several notches with the OMGz moments. A literally got the liars arrested for murder, kidnapped them, tortured them, locked them out and starved them for several days, and then resumed stalking them after they got out. So who is A? Well it was revealed in season 5 that A was probably Charles DiLaurentis, a.k.a. Alison's older brother who we find out was shipped off to Radley for trying to kill her when she was a baby. Wait, no he's already dead. Wait, no he isn't he just faked it. Then the big reveal came, Charles is A but Charles is also Cece Drake because Charles is trangender and went by Charlotte. Then you find out the whole thing started kinda by accident because Bethany Young was a psychotic killer (who killed Toby's mom) and was going to kill Jessica so Cece snuck out of Radley to stop her by killing Bethany but accidentally hit Alison instead and they thought she was dead. Flash-forward, Mona told Cece that the girls were happy that Ali was dead which set her off in full revenge mode. She actually loves all the girls and would never have let anything really bad happen to them and she never tried to kill Ali when she was a kid she just wanted to make Ali happy by giving her a bath and Mr. DiLaurentis took the opportunity to get rid of the son who wanted to be a daughter. Keeping up? Maybe. Okay. Oh and Spencer's fully absolved of beating Bethany with a shovel when Mona reveals it was her because she thought it was Alison. Mix-ups right? Well at least someone got the job done.

Oh and Sarah is red-coat, which was pretty obvious already so it wasn't much of a reveal. Which I'm sure means that Emily's free to return to Paige's crazy arms. Oh and then it flashes forward five years and Spencer looks like she just stepped out of a late 80's cop show.

Update: Only watched the first episode of this season so, Cece got out of psych and was immediately murdered by dundundun probably Ali. Not that there's any clues to that but Ali actually being a total psycho after convincing the other girls she was practically Mother Theresa now would be hilarious. Caleb and Spencer are almost definitely getting it on which will be like super awkward. Aria's love life is as (un)interesting as ever. Just waiting for Ezra's dead girlfriend to spring up from beyond the grave just as Ezra and Aria are about to elope to marry or some crap. Paige is still not around which is awesome for anyone who believes that Emily should be in any kind of healthy relationship. So really, not much happened in the first episode... mostly just being like ZOMG look how different they look with fringes.

Dominion (2014)
The first episode was entertaining and I enjoyed the set-up and new characters that have been introduced. The main actor is pretty weak but they've got a lot of really good names in it; Alan Dale and Anthony Head to name but a few. I'm definitely going to continue watching and I'm kind of embarrassed that I didn't figure out who the traitor was immediately.

Update: The quality of the episodes has kind of come-and-gone but I'm still really enjoying the experience. I'm a little behind so haven't seen the finale yet but I'm hoping that the season will end on a high note.

The finale wasn't amazing by any standards but I did enjoy it. I felt sorry for Michael. Discovering Becca had dismembered a still living angel like that and clearly held no remorse about it. Even though his killing her was accidental I can't see it not being justified. Arika really being Evelyn wasn't a surprise. I'm hoping they'll introduce Raphael next season and maybe show us some more lore, maybe about Lucifer too.

Yes, I've probably watched half the episodes that came out before 2011 but I really would love to watch the entirety of the series! I wish netflix would pick it up, they'd make a lot of people happy.

Update: NETFLIX PICKED IT UP!

Update: I finished it on Netflix! It just took me months of sporadic watching! I really do love Criminal Minds I wish they'd just find an actress to replace Prentiss that can actually blend properly into the team. Love-Hewitt's doing an admirable job but she still hasn't made me believe yet that she's really one of them. I also think they concentrate too much on her characters personal life.

I binged this on watchathon week. Initially I thought it'd be just another cop show but I genuinely like the cast and character interactions. Voight and Olinsky are the stars of the show and I really enjoy the murky undertone.

I go through this phase every season, I just can't watch any more because of how heartlessly depressing this show actually is. I'll finish watching it soon, probably cursing Thomas and the new girl and hoping they both drown in a creek somewhere.

Sleepy Hollow is probably one of the better series that has come out of the last year. The cast are amazing, the story is well-thought out so I'm not screaming at people to take note of what is obviously right in front of them, Crane is so adorable with new technology. Where the heck has Tom Mison been hiding?. I loved the season finale and can't wait for it to come back! Thankfully it'll actually be coming back this year so I won't have to cry into my pillow for too long.

Bad-da-da! We have returned! This season has started out a little slow but they've got a lot of explaining and planning to do for what surely will be an epic battle between Ichabod and Jeremy/Abraham.

So I'm not done with the season yet, after I saw where it was heading I kinda lost my motivation but I'll get it done soon. I have always really loved the Ichabod and Katrina relationship. Its been one of the cornerstones of the series but its pretty obvious that every thing is falling apart and they're heading for a Ichabod/Abbie relationship. Now don't get me wrong, I love Ichabod and Abbie. They have great chemistry and banter but I love them as friends! I don't want to ruin the whole the whole thing with some romantic innuendo. I'll try to finish the whole season and get back to you then.

As a fan of the Batman universe I knew I needed to give this a try. I haven't been disappointed so far and as the creators said they haven't made the original storyline mute in any way. I hate Fish Mooney, Pinkett-Smith has done a good job making her irredeemable. At first I thought I'd dislike Bullock but I've enjoyed his character so far and the dynamics between him and Gordan. He's on the right side, he just goes about things the wrong way.

Hemlock Grove (2013)
This was such an amazing series, I would absolutely recommend anyone with netflix to watch this. It was really beautifully put together, so dark and at some points just depressing but absolutely perfect. All the actors deserve props especially Freya Tingley, Famke Janssen, and Nicole Boivin (sadly it doesn't look like she'll be back for season 2). I'm not sure whats in store for season two but I'll definitely be watching.

Update: Yay season 2 starts July 11th!!

Update: So it happened and though I'm not all the way through yet I'm enjoying the new season up to now! I'll be honest at first I wasn't sure of our new hero Miranda but there's something reassuringly human about her in the insanity of the series.

Falling Skies (2011)
I've been watching this show from season one and now its on its forth season! Noah Wyle is an amazing actor and his dynamic with the rest of the cast is really entertaining to watch. I've really enjoyed the first two episodes of the new season and I hope it continues like this. The new storyline of Lexi being a cult leader and possibly being in-cahoots with the fish-heads really has me hooked.

Plus its great to see Harry Potter actors getting work finally! (Lexi's actress played Pansy Parkinson).

Update: Well some of my favourites went out so I'm pretty sad. R.I.P. Tector and Dr. Kadar. Lets all admit we saw where this was going, there was no way Lexi was going to be the saviour of mankind, because of her I've really begun to despise Anne. She was single-mindedly focused on searching for her daughter the entire time they were separated and gave little thought to her step-sons including Matt who had begun to see her as a mother. She was completely selfish and got both Ben and Deni injured and didn't seem to feel all that bad about it.

Update: Okay like..... wtf just happened in the finale? New sexy female aliens? Lexi's dead? Tom got blasted off into space to make little hybrids with sexy female aliens?

I ran through the first two and a half seasons on Netflix and I really, really enjoy this show. I'm not sure the casting is always correct with their corresponding characters but a show full of upset teenagers probably wouldn't be too interesting to anyone but teenagers.

Cult (2013)
I know it gets cancelled after this season and I'm going to be really badly disappointed... but I'm actually really enjoying the initial episodes. We'll see if it gets worse or the terrible marketing job the CW did for this series is what killed it.

Broadchurch (2013)
I'm a little behind on Broadchurch I'll admit. I just recently noticed it on Netflix and have watched the first four episodes. I know right now in the UK its coming out with season 2, so thats something to probably look forward too. I keep getting pissed that the US made a version but seriously recaptured the scenes frame-by-frame (at least from what I saw of the commercials for Gracepoint). I'm pretty sure I know who the killer is though they've been quiet throughout the series until now.

The Leftovers (2014)
I watched the first episode and it was kinda hard to get into with all the different characters muddying up and confusing me. It still intrigues me though so I am gonna get it a shot.

Update: So I'm about five episodes in and, this is a slow burner. Its not that there's not anything interesting happening but everything is just kinda sad and depressing. Kevin in a character I genuinely feel sorry for, as is the Reverent. This is not a show for people who really like for things to 'happen'.

The Voice (2011)
I do watch the voice, I suppose more because they actually screen the contestants and I don't have to watch depressingly delusional people get paraded onto the screen for the public to snicker at and mock, also the judges give constructive criticism which could actually help the people they turn down. Last season was amazing: Tessanne, Caroline, Matthew, Cole, Ray, and Austin. They had a goldmine of talent, I don't think there's anyway they can recreate that this season but we'll see.

Update: This season has a lot more talent than I initially gave it credit for: Christina, Kat, Josh, Kristen, and Jake are all contestants who can blow my mind. I think that Christina's going all the way though, the girl really knows how to pick her songs.

The Originals (2013)
I love the Original family on TVD so I'm actually pretty hopeful about this show. I really wish they'd bring the entire family back but that is probably not going to happen. This is the Vampire Diaries universe though so Mikael, Esther, Finn, and Kol could come popping out of the ground at any time.

I'm a big Supernatural series fan so I'm looking forward to what they can do with the hugely talented cast that they've assembled. Like seriously how can a show with Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, and Josh Hartnett be bad?

Tried and Failed...

People who added this item 143 Average listal rating (98 ratings) 6.5 IMDB Rating 7.1
This show is campy as f. Its hilarious, even in the moments when things are meant to be tense, yet I can't seem to convince myself to stop watching. For the most part the show is horribly acted by some kids they must have found in a strip mall somewhere.

Its pretty cliche throughout but its not a terrible way to spend some time if you want something ridiculous to watch on a Tuesday. I strongly suspect that Emma's a Mary Sue but I won't be able to prove it until we get closer to the end. Feels like a fanfic brought to life.

Okay, identities of the killers..... not surprising. What is surprising is that this show is actually getting a second season. MTV will probably renew anything though, soo... Will I watch, probably not. There was like one actor who was half-convincing and she's the killer.

Arrow (2012)
Lost me after season 1. I think the romance actually started to detract from the storyline and though I was excited when Black Canary initially showed up, it didn't really last for long. Slade was seriously my favourite character so if he can't save the show than I'm not sure nothing will. I might try again one day though.

Lost (2004)
I seriously got through the first four seasons, binge watching them before I realized that the whole series was just a ton of ridiculous, nonsensical rubbish. I liked so many of the characters too but occasionally they seemed to just change for no apparent reason. I appreciate how much effort went into the creation of this gigantic world but I wish they'd focused more on the main story instead of constantly detracting and making more and more supernatural elements.

I know people love this show but I could never truly force myself to like Walt or to even sympathise with him. It made it difficult to watch, Jesse had a lot of elements that made him almost child-like and his admiration and trust in Walt was one of those things. Walt used Jesse over and over again and screwed him over, he didn't feel remorse. He simply justified it as him doing it for his family. When Jane happened I had to stop.

Continuum (2012)
I barely made it through the first season. The last few episodes of season one were actually really interesting but as soon as season two began again I simply couldn't continue to try to force myself to watch it. There were some really interesting story hooks but I guess I just never got into it in the first place.

Half-way through season one I quit. It was Charlie, I don't believe in all my years I've ever seen such a whiny, selfish person (dis)grace my screen. She was meant to be so bad-ass with her cross-bow but seriously half the time Miles or 'obvious love interest' were saving her ass. I think what really killed it was how unappreciative she was to Maggie, that woman had lost so much and was still trying to help Charlie. Then she dies and is never mentioned again.

I can't say Prison Break was a failure, it should have stopped after the second season. That was the true conclusion to the series. Lincoln was framed, they find out by who. Michael can just go live off in Cuba and everything’s good but nope..... more Prison break!

The Following (2013)
Watched the first few episodes. Loved episode one, it was really masterfully done and if the rest of the series had followed that feel I would have been so much happier. It just went down hill from there though. I was surprised they got a second season.

I actually got almost two seasons into it and I absolutely loved it! Monroe and Renard are great characters. I didn't mind Juliet at first, their romance was kind of cute though to me she didn't really seem to have much of a personality. Then that whole storyline happened with Jules and Renard and it just got really frustrating, really fast. Poor Nick. I'm sure I'll give it another go eventually.

Helix (2014)
Part of me enjoys Helix, another part of me really wishes it hadn't devolved so fast into an action series with slight under-tones of scientific discovery. Hatake's easily the most interesting character but he's been trapped in an "everyone thinks he's a villain and won't trust him" position. The ending of the season was too predictable in my opinion but it probably won't stop me from tuning in later this year when it comes back.
