Rules for this list:
1. All games on this list must be completely 2D or 2.5D. If platforming in stages (so hub-worlds are excluded) happens in 3D, the game is not eligible for this list.
2. Platforming must be the main gameplay style of the game. Metroidvanias, while having platforming as one of their main gameplay styles, are not included on this list. Combat overall is fine however, as long as it's not more important than platforming.
3. All entries must be games that I have played recently/after the creation of this list to most accurately represent my opinion on them.
