Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
Happy to see the Star Wars franchise continue. Finn's story line intrigued me initially. The forced romantic vibes between Finn and Ren were annoying. Kylo Ren had absolutely no reason to remove his helmet, but whatever I love Adam Driver. Excited to see the next two episodes.

Joy (2015)
Neat true life story. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper were wonderful of course.

Dirty Grandpa (2016)
Stupid. Vulgar. Trying too hard. Audrey Plaza though ;P

How to Be Single (2016)
Not totally what I expected. Good cast. Funny overall.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Deadpool (2016)
Ryan Reynolds is fantastic. I'm not a comic book movie fan so I found the majority of it to be slightly lame/cheesy. It has plenty of action and gore. Great humor.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Hail, Caesar! (2016)
Honestly don't have much to say about this film. Fabulous cast. Funny moments. Strange.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016)
Got more than I expected in a good way. Funny but also thought provoking. Tina Fey is great.

I've wanted a MBFGW sequel for 14 years and I felt like this could have been done better but over all it was funny and did mostly hold up to the first one.

I'm not a comic book fan nor do I enjoy unrealistic CGI. This was not a good movie at all. Lame and cheesy are two words that come to mind. I would consider re-watching it though. Superman shoots lasers out of his eyes, he is an alien...not cool bro. Batman all the way.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
The Boss (2016)
Not very funny at all. Pretty much lame. I expected more from Melissa McCarthy. Wouldn't want to see it again.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Criminal (2016)
Woah, what an awesome plot. Enjoyed the beginning, middle, and end. I recommend it.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Keanu (2016)
It was okay. Made me want to watch the Key&Peele show though. Adorable cat of course.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Money Monster (2016)
Not much more I can say other than it was entertaining. Re-watch value is severely low. Julia Roberts gets an A+.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016)
Had me laughing throughout. Would re-watch for sure.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
The Nice Guys (2016)
You have to see this movie. Crowe and Gosling make for a great duo. I can't wait to see this movie again.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Me Before You (2016)
Quite touching. Extremely sad. Emilia Clarke is just fabulous. Loved it.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Now You See Me 2 (2016)
Totally entertaining. Cast was on point. I found this movie to be a bit confusing towards the end. I need to re-watch both this one and the first one.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
Finding Dory (2016)
The long awaited sequel to Finding Nemo did not disappoint. Well done. Loved it through and through. It had me crying (of course) and laughing wholeheartedly. One of my new favorite animated movies.
logicalphilosophy's rating:
The Conjuring 2 (2016)
I can't say it didn't scare me but I don't believe it was as frightening as the first movie. I would say that seeing it in the theater heightened the scare factor. I was thrown off by the mood of the film, the music played a strange role. I do enjoy movies based on true stories/events so for that reason I liked the movie.
