Super Troopers 2 (2018)
Got few good laughs but the jokes were pretty outdated or Canadian related stereotypes.

The Predator (2018)
CGI was one ugly motherfu*ker.
Loonies chemistry worked well and action sequences were entertaining enough to watch.

The Greatest Showman (2017)
Catchy songs.
Film looked too polished, CGI animals too unreal and there was few weird looking filters in couple scenes.

The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
Fresh in the memory, decided to rewatch this spectacle after seeing the play in Finnish National Opera last night.
Chilling and awesome music and songs wrapped around on well made and acted film from a world wide popular opera with gorgeous sets and costumes.

Unbreakable (2000)
Realistic look on superheros who's ordinary people just born with special skills or had some ordinary accident which gave some extraordinary powers, is welcoming changes when we're living in MCU and DCU world.
Film has shot beautifully with using several well shot long takes and many iconic looking scenes including some awesome hero poses. Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson both gave great emotional and dedicated performances, which we haven’t seen them do years.
James Newton Howard impressed again with his awesome sounding score and maybe my favorite superhero theme.

The Village (2004)
Setting and idea of the film is intriguing and the twist surprising. Although I would’ve changed the order of few scenes at the end of the film, so the suspense haven’t suffer and the twist would’ve been more jaw dropping.
James Newton Howard’s composed score is chilling and emotionally beautiful, which is one of my personal favorites.

Isle of Dogs (2018)
Puppets and sets looked gorgeous, the score sounded great as the voice acting and the movie had Wes Anderson’s own unique feel to it, but the story and things happening on the screen felt just pretty dull for me.

The Meg (2018)
Bad jokes, flexing and pinch of dick measuring.
One of the hundred unrealistic B-class shark flicks made inside ten years, but this time with Jason Statham. Who eventually will get an headache or bursted vessel with that same crazy grin look on his face which he uses in every movie.
I think his trying to top Bruce Willis...

This was slight disappointment for me, 'cause I expected it to be little bit more violent and gorier.
Otherwise the futuristic setting worked nicely and it had that Blade Runner feeling of detective work to find his missing friend.
Alexander Skarsgård is promising actor and his acting as well as films are usually entertaining to watch.

Cargo (2017)
Movie was sad and depressing as f*ck, but it comes with the territory of post-apocalyptic films. Not very cheering subject.
Great performance from Martin Freeman. He got my eyes glassy at his final scene. Most, or would I say certain films has that one or two great chilling, sad, beautiful or awesome scenes, mostly one, which can chance my perspective from the movie and makes it even better. This one had one and it was just those final minutes of Freeman's screen time.

Dead Alive (1992)
Like Jackson's Bad Taste, but more gorier and almost same amount of nostalgia.
Practical effects were top quality and dark humor worked on me.

Bad Taste (1987)
Getting the roots of amateur/indipendent movie making.
This flick inspired me and my long time friend since childhood pick up a video camera and make a movie of our own. Well, it didn't turned out to be as great as Jackson's Bad Taste but we surely had fun while making it and about hundred more.
Film makers like Peter Jackson are so inspiring and please to follow how seriously he takes his projects and how closely he's being a part of the whole process.
Like making all the props: Guns made from aluminum pipe, fimo and pieces of wood, all the way to the latex alien costumes warmed in oven into his mother's kitchen.
Also the undying dedication to make this film with his small group of friends, even when it stretched over four years process and the end result doesn't even show it. The quality stayed same the whole ride.

Wild Bill (1995)
Walter Hill's entertaining action and firefights were there, but the story and editing itself was all over the place and made the movie pretty messy.

The Warriors (1979)
The design as well as unique look of different gangs and their way of handling trouble, was executed nicely. Like the comic book styled transitions.
Also the soundtrack was catchy and fit perfectly on the film.

The Danish Girl (2015)
Fascinating subject for a man who’s open-minded, stands for equality, realistic as well as modern with a pinch of old-fashioned and well executed portrayal about transition from a men to women.
The whole film looked clean and fancy. All the way to the sets, costumes and acting.
Eddie Redmayne did a great performance and should’ve won another Oscar for it.

Action and over the top real crazy stunts, which some day get Tom Cruise killed, are still very entertaining to watch.
Next stunt location: The Space.
