I'm so sorry... didn't like it

It wasn't the violence, I kinda like violence. I just wasn't interested in the story of De Niro's character.

I should have loved this. Love Bowie. Love fairytales. Maybe because it's from the 80s? Didn't love Labyrinth.

I like surreal movies, I really do. But there is a point where the level of surreality surpasses plot, and there I am lost and uncomfortable.

All the fast-talking and imitation of an old-school hard-boiled detective movie with lots of film noir elements that just didn't come together for me.

I was SO BORED. Is it because I'm a girl?

Almost ashamed to admit that I really disliked this. Couldn't get through Life of Brian either. I don't appreciate the humour.

I just thought it was too convoluted. And I love twists, like Inception. And Batman was missing for a long time. And Gotham received no help from America. Ugh just too illogical.

Why didn't I like this??? I love Burton's movies!! Not this one though.

I was not interested in the guy's weird life.
