What can I say about this series. The sequel to one of the best anime of the last decade. It started off poorly, with two absurdly cute main protagonists, which then multiplied and turned it from an awesome tale of adventure to lunch at the castle. It got so bad they had to do flashbacks of the first series. No joke.

generic. all of it. Saw two episoses before I came to that conclusion, which was then reinforced with the reactions from people who actually watched this show to the end.

They ruined Deunan. They turned her from one of the most, the most badass females in all of manga into a chick! It was disgusting. She was cofident and competent, which is not something you get in females in anime often.

It started off strong enough, but then the killer of many a good series popped up. That's right, fillers. Badly drawn, and badly written. It's bad enough when that happens, but then it infected the source material, and the main story became as bad as the filler.

First series was good. Second season was okay. So, if it was okay, then why is it here. Simply put, it was basically a repeat of the first season. The third season fixed that, but it has other issues.
K-ON! (2009)
So these girls can play instruments fairly well. Yet, it has almost nothing to do with music. I must say I was a little disappointed about that.

Trigun (1998)
There's nothing really wrong with Trigun. It's just I think Trigun Maximum is so much better.
silent killer's rating:
Tenchi Muyo! GXP (2002)
It's a Tenchi series. So my expectations although not really high since it has almost nothing to do with the main Tenchi cast. I was hoping for more. At the very least I was hoping for it to be entertaining. I got none of that.

School Rumble (2004)
I loved the manga so I assumed I would love the anime. However, that was not the case. Haven't quite pinned down why I just don't like it.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (2009)
I was expecting so much more from this series. It could have done so many things so much better with the setting it had. For an example of what I wished I had gotten with this series, watch A Spirit of the Sun.
silent killer's rating:
Chaos;HEAd (2008)
It had all the right things, but it was just too short to make it all work. Perhaps if it had been a 24 episode series perhaps everything wouldn't have needed to be cut down/out.

How does one mess up girls and tanks? Like this.
Small update: I've since watched every episode, and now I'm doubly sure this belongs here. Girl's riding in tanks is one thing, but then none getting turned into soup in a can....
I know that sounds weird, but that's the best analogy I can think of for what should have happened to them every time I saw a tank get hit with live ammunition. I can't get over that.

It was very interesting at first. But then about halfway through, things started getting very familiar. Almost like I'd seen this before. Then it struck me. This is basically Digimon, but your mons power is based on how much money you have. And that's where my fascination with this show ended.

Shangri-La (2009)
this thing didn't know whether it wanted to be a cutesy anime or a serious one, and in the end proved to be neither.
silent killer's rating:
Now I didn't get very far in to this one, and I don't want to. The main male lead seemed to be all the worst things about giant robot teenaged pilots rolled into one person.
silent killer's rating:
It was great right up to the end where basically everybody doublecrosses everybody.
silent killer's rating:
Burst Angel (2004)
Gotta save Meg because she's too dumb to live! then when it finally gets interesting and Meg stops getting kidnapped, it ends. And then we get an OVA that is actually prequel. smh
silent killer's rating:
Again. A disappointing ending. More, due it to not really being an ending. UNfortunately more never came, and we're stuck with a half done series.
silent killer's rating:
It's not all bad. I love all the characters, but the story suffers from all the added and unneccesary drama that was not present in its original published form. Frankly, it didn't need adding to. It was just about perfect.
silent killer's rating:
Wanting a second season and needing a second season are two different things. This show needed a second season, despite it being a full 26 episodes. It somehow managed to answer not one important plot point.
silent killer's rating:
Again. Another series that suffered from being too short to really get any traction and get truly interesting.
silent killer's rating:
anime that I have watched, or tried to watch that I thought was not worth my time or turned into a waste of time.
