The first concert I've ever been to and it was a memorable experience. It started off with a great opening montage and it had lots of other cool stuff like the use of costumes he used for different songs, souvenir dollars with his face on it falling from the ceiling to the donuts bit in the song "Albuquerque" going on for almost two minutes.

They may be old now, but they can still know how to rock. They performed a few of the songs from their newer album and most of their well-known songs. Out of all the concerts I've been to so far, this one is the best.

Opened for KISS and I can see why they chose this band to open for them because it was a great opening act. Since they opened for KISS, I started to listen to them from time to time.

Something did happen on the way to the concert. We got the tickets from Craigslist which isn't the best place to get tickets, but the concert was sold out so it was our only option. When someone had the same seats we got that's when we found out the tickets were bogus. What happened was the jackass who sold us those tickets called and said he didn't get the tickets, so he got the re-issued tickets and sold the cancelled ones. Fortunately there were still some tickets for sale and the funny thing is that the seats were even better than the seats in the fake tickets.
The concert was worth what we went through. The songs they sang were great and I also enjoyed the guitar and drum solos in the middle of the show and when Gene Simmons spits out blood and then sings God of Thunder. There was also fire shooting out certain parts of the set which felt hot from where I was sitting. Because the concert was at a hockey arena, it showed some of the audience on that special screen and I happened to be on there... twice. The souvenir I got from this concert was a signed photo of Tommy Thayer that also came with signed guitar picks. My dad and I went to the police station the next day to report the scammer for fraud, but I haven't heard of anything about it since.

Putting him on the list because he was a member of The Guess Who. Because he was nice enough to put on a free concert, our family decided to go. I wasn't too familiar with him or The Guess Who, but decided to go because it was a free concert. The sound wasn't easy to hear from where we were sitting, so I can't really go into detail on how good it was. We did go inside the hotel when the concert was still going on to get something to eat, but when I was on the balcony the sound was much better. It turns out I was more familiar with Burton Cummings and The Guess Who than I thought I was. It was a pretty good concert, but I feel like I missed most of the concert. There are videos of it on YouTube though, so I can watch them anytime I want.

This time around I actually knew what the opening act was beforehand, so I listened to a couple of their songs and really liked what I heard. While I did have a hard time understanding what the hell the lead singer was saying during the first two songs, they progressively got better as they went on and much easier to understand. They did have a lot of energy and they did play their biggest hit, "Cult of Personality" which is good as I would be shocked if they didn't play it. They even made "Should I Stay Or Should I go?" sound good and while I do like The Clash, I just hate the original song. Easily the best opening act I've seen so far.

There was a 30 minute wait between Living Colour and Aerosmith which I was feeling a bit impatient around that time, but they were still worth the wait since they played for about two and a half hours. I heard they were great live and after seeing them live I definitely agree with them. They still know how to rock after all these years and they played quite a bit of their older songs which is a plus. I should mention that I listened to all their albums a month before I saw them, so I knew the majority of the songs they played and around the middle of the show, Joey Kramer did this awesome drum solo.
They didn't play anything from Nine Lives, but I couldn't care less about that as it's my least favorite album from them. Steven Tyler was crazy in a good way and his voice hasn't changed a bit. They left for a couple minutes when the show was suposedly over, but came back for an encore which I knew would happen and they ended up playing Dream On and Sweet Emotion which was fantastic because you can't have an Aerosmith show without those songs. This ended up being my favorite concert so far and if they ever tour again I wouldn't hesitate to see them again.
