The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures - GameCube
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Famicom and NES
This game is really frekin hard. Pretty much unplayable for me. Maybe it is just because I am not that good, but I just don't enjoy it.
Hyrule Warriors - Nintendo Wii U
This game doesn't compare to the rest of the games on the list. Although it is a fun hack and slash multiplayer game, it is just that... Fun but I have no emotional attachment to it.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Nintendo 64
Let me start by saying that this is a great game. IMHO, Majora Mask supporters are too aggressive at times trying to make their point that it is a better game than Ocarina of Time. I appreciate everything good about it, but I don't like the countdown most of the time. It gives me a lot of anxiety, but it also adds depth to NPC's that OOT didn't have. In OOT they say one thing and that's it, but in MM, characters are more colorful and say and do many different things over the 3 day cycle. The masks are a lot of fun and Stone Tower is one of the best in the series.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Nintendo Wii
When does the game start??? The tutorial is WAY too long! The pacing of the game is very slow at first. I like the graphics, the gameplay(for the most part), the villain(s), and the hero's shade! The motion controls aren't great, and I never felt attached to any support characters. Midna is a good companion though and I enjoyed the story a lot. It also has some awesome boss fights!(Stallord)
The Legend of Zelda - Famicom and NES
Introduced saving to the gaming community. A fun open world game. It is not linear and pretty hard. It hasn't aged particularly well, but it is still really fun to play.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Super famicom and SNES
I never finished this game. My gaming experience started with the Gameboy and N64. I do appreciate what this game did to the gaming world and that it still looks and plays great today.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - Nintendo Wii U
Let me start out by saying that NONE of these games are bad games. All of them are epic in their own way. First of all, Toon Link may be the BEST in all the series! Windwaker is praised for its cell shaded graphics. I don't care if they stand the test of time... I just don't like the graphics that much. I was never attracted to this game solely based on looks. Gameplay is great and I like the story. I think the Ganon in this game is one of the best in the series. He has a lot more depth than the usual evil villain. Although there are some boring segments, there are also some epic moments. (the temple of time & the epic final battle).
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Nintendo Wii
Let me address some concerns... Fi, she is awful at times but it is greatly exaggerated. Somehow I still feel sad when she leaves at the end. The 3 demise battles, the last one and the first one are actually pretty easy. The second battle took me two times, but with the help of Groose at the right time, and the right strategy in place, it is not sooo bad. The only acceptable complaint is if you are fighting these battles on Hero mode. Motion controls are fun and are good as they will ever be. I love so many things about this game. I get emotionally attached to it and almost brought to tears at the end. Some of the dungeons are the best on the who Zelda universe. The pirate ship, ancient cistern, and the lanayru mining facility. It is a beautiful game. I love upgrading my weapons and catching bugs. Ghirahim is scary and flamboyant. The final battle with demise is epic. There is little about this game I don't like.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch
This game perfected the Zelda formula. an open world with so much depth. The weapon system is sweet and the story is tragic and redemptive. So many hours can be put into this game. The gameplay is so much fun, and I still have to do so much. In a year when the hype is over I will rate this game again, but for now it is my SOLID number two.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Nintendo 64
Greatest game of all time. The 3ds remake made it look really good, but the original game captured a great story with and an awesome adventure. I can play this game again and again and still get all emotional at the end. I wish Zora's fountain would have unfrozen though.
My personal list. Based on which games i got the most enjoyment from.
