“Once again, The Legend of Zelda series puts Link in another huge, puzzling adventure with one dungeon after another. However, this never gets repetitive. Majora's Mask could possibly be one of the best Zelda games ever, surpassed only by Link's Awakening. First of all, I've got to mention the immenseness of this game.Although the game centers solely around just three days, there are so many things you, as Link, can do. Everything is timed perfectly. What you do one day will affect what happens the next for better or for worse. Everyone will always be at one certain place at one certain time. Nothing is random in this game, which makes it perfect for a time-traveling adventure. Everything is positioned according to time. The graphics also jump a step higher than Ocarina of Time's, keeping out” read more
“A deep, atmospheric, and complex masterpiece in game design full of a perfect balance of side quests and main quests. Combining these quests within a time limit improves with replay value leading to a satisfying sense of accomplishment every time you save with the Song of Time.” read more
"What I love about this game: Even if it was initially planned as just an expansion on the original game (Ocarina of Time), this game expanded beyond its limits and used an existing engine to offer a totally different game from its predecessor, with a time system that added a sense of urgency, a darker plot and a series of subquests that without a doubt elevate this game to a masterpiece status, being considered by many on the best on the franchise."
“This game is very good. Especially considering the relatively small development time (for Nintendo standards). It is a new game; but the reuse of assets, although expected, really makes it less interesting. Also, the timeloop mechanic, although very unique, can be irritating at times (you lose all your accountable items), but it was very well implemented nonetheless. I can't deny the game is a bit on the short side and has almost no story in it (it's all veeery vague). And in this game a lot of what seems to be side-quests are needed to progress. This, and the stray fairy searches in the dungeons, are exploratory designs that are at constant odds with the time limit. But Termina is a much more unique location than Hyrule.” read more
"This is the wierdest and wildest zelda game out there and IMO the hardest 3D Zelda Title! The story didnt really make sense and I hated the 3 day effect even though you could go back and do different things I just couldnt stand feeling like all of what you did was pointless and erased after you rewound time. It was like you did nothing and gave me no sense of accomplishment, but nonetheless it is a great game and had amazing dungeons just the style didnt really impress or want me to play this ga"
