Magical Mystery Tour - The Beatles
This gets dinged by me for not really being a true album. Most of the songs were previously released as singles. Some of the obscure tracks are great ("Baby I'm A Rich Man" and "Flying"), but "Fool on the Hill" is among my least favorite of their hits.

A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles
Pretty good album to go along with a great movie.

Help! - The Beatles
The Best of their early years. "Help" and "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" still hold up today.

Let It Be - The Beatles
Not as bad as it might as seemed at the time. "Across the Universe" "Let It Be" "Two of Us" and "I've Got a Feeling" are among my favorite Beatles tunes.

Revolver - The Beatles
The stepping stone to Peppers. They started treating the studio equipment as another instrument (Tomorrow Never Knows).

Rubber Soul - The Beatles
The American version I had on cassette tape back in the 80s is actually a superior album, but the official release as we know it now is almost as good. A huge step forward for the band.

The Beatles (The White Album) - The Beatles
All over the map style wise, but some of the best work they've ever done. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is one of their best ever, but most of the rest of the album is just as good.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
Usually listed as the best album in rock history. Not quite, but still pretty solid. Probably #4 or #5 for me.

Abbey Road - The Beatles
It's not perfect (Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Octopus' Garden are both mediocre, IMO), but there is nothing more sublime than the last half of this album (starting with "Sun King"). It really is the most effortless sounding "concept" album ever. It's an even more amazing album when you realize that they were basically not recording together all at the same time when they made this.

I've listened to a lot of the Beatles lately, and I thought I would rank them here.
