Shrek (2001)
"Shrek"
It's hard to be critical of this one. Truly earned it's spot as the very first Best Animated Feature inductee and set the standard by which every winner and nominee henceforth has been measured by. I think they may have gotten carried away with all the sequels though. The movie was funny but not THAT funny. And it helped set up this neverending trend of animated movies and the random celebrities associated with them...

"Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius"
Set up the premise for the tv series that followed it, which I think was BETTER than this film. I can see though why one needed to precede the other but meh? - where in God's green earth is "Waking Life's" recognition!?!?
Although I'll go easy on this one cause like I said, I'm a fan of the series...

Spirited Away (2001)
"Spirited Away"
The other four nominees never even stood a chance?! Everybody was just waiting for this category alone to be created - for the sole purpose of giving Miyazaki something to win.
"Spirited Away" is one of those rare treasures that actually gives itself deeper meaning each time you revisit it. I just saw it again not too long ago and had actually forgotten just how amazed I was by it the first time!

Big Hero 6 (2014)
"Big Hero 6"
It's basically "the Incredibles" meets "WALL-E" and there you pretty much have the premise to "Big Hero 6", mixed together with a bit of tv's "Gotham" dark brooding by the main protagonist. Nothing spectacular here. The sheer fact that this one was even nominated over "the Lego Movie" is a testament to Disney's bias influence over the Academy Awards and the cultural direction of America's youth!
What kind of crack-pipe where these people toking by giving this ungodly formulaic and all around BOOoorrrring snorefest of a film the top prize of this year's Best Animated Feature prize?!!!!...

The is a customized list(/collection) of all the official Best Animated Feature Academy Award winners and what I've seen and still have yet to. My personal critique on what won, what should of, what didn't deserve it, and what got royally "screwed" at the hands of the Academy. I hope you all enjoy looking through.
