Traditionally animated movies, CGI animated movies, and stop-motion animated movies are all included so long as a vast majority of the film is animated (sorry, Space Jam). Animated shorts are also excluded from this list - otherwise the list would be too long.
Movies are listed, in my humble opinion, from best to worst. I mostly rate based on originality, whether the narrative is emotionally engaging, story pacing, presence or lack of cliches, and other such subjective measures. I also take into account overall animation quality and "cinematography."
