A love story between a German soldier (Franz) and a Belorussian woman (Polina). The first part of the movie is unrealistic (behavior of the German soldiers in the village) but the rest is good.

This movie is filmed in the style of a documentary but it's actually a reenactment. The cinematography is absolutly great.

I watched a new HD remastered version on TV (arte) - brilliant quality. It's a shame that I can't find a copy of that version anywhere. I didn't watch it in full length though, so I need to rewatch it sooner or later.

I grew up with this fantastic cartoon series.
The wolf is hunting the rabbit in every episode. The wolf never succeeds...

These are my second favourite cartoons of my childhood. It's Leopold the cat with his famous sentence that he says at the end of every episode:

"Ребята, давайте жить дружно!"
(Guys let's be friendly to each other!)

I love Cheburashka (Russian: Чебурашка), that little cute creature with huge ears. I especially remember the songs in that cartoon.

This is a cartoon Mini-Series. The film has two sequels, Vacation in Buttermilk Village (Каникулы в Простоквашино) (1980) and Winter in Buttermilk Village (Зима в Простоквашино) (1984).
