I don't believe that he died when his fighter jet was shot down, since he said he had a foolproof plan to fake his death. On top of that, his body was never found. Though chances are the creators are just going to continue to leave his fate ambiguous, but better safe than sorry.

If Tony Almeida returns, then it's possible she could too, but it's next to impossible, that she could return. We don't see her body for that long, and Tony Almeida survives one of the blasts of the same bomb, but in order for the retconning of her death to work, Tony would not be able to know about it, and that's not very likely. But still, this is fiction, so anything's possible.

I would not have put him on this list if not for one simple thing. The creators had initially intended to bring him back at the end of Day 6. I have no idea how he would've done it, but if they had a plan for it back then, then I'm sure they might consider doing it again now.

Fans were not happy with his anticlimactic and character derailing death. They've been calling for his return ever since, and I wouldn't be surprised if the writers will find a way to do so.

He kind of just disappeared after he slipped back into a coma, and was never mentioned again. A newspaper article claims that he died, but some of the writers have said that he could very much be alive. That's more than enough reason to put him on this list.

This one is more about me wanting this character to come back to life, but it could happen. I have read a couple of fan theories and fan fics that have dealt with this. Yes it would be unrealistic, but Tony Almeida came back under a pretty improbable set of circumstances. After all, Jack only mourned over her body for 30 seconds and then just walked away. It's not impossible, but not very likely.

Seriously, how incompetent do you have to be to get shot by your own staff? I think there's a much bigger conspiracy going on here. Highly unlikely, but I still think there's a little glimmer of hope for him.
The mini-series "24: Live Another Day" will be airing in May 2014. And with the insane, and crazy plot twists and 24's seeming need to kill off so many characters, I have to wonder "Will they be resurrecting a character?" This could very well be their last chance at writing a "24" story, so it is possible that this could end up happening. Especially since they've already resurrected some characters (Tony Almeida, Audrey Raines, and even Jack Bauer, quite literally). This list is mostly just wild mass guessing on my part, but hopefully if they decide to resurrect a character, that same one will be on this list. SPOILERS EVERYWHERE!!
