2013 - Year of Progress

I finished this just after the new year. It was a great experience. I plan to eventually return to try out some of the use made content or try my hand at level editor myself!

A shorter game with a clever story. I still have some questions that need answering. Some replayability if I decide to go back for high scores or to unlock additional masks. Multiplayer (deathmatch) would be a cool feature.

I love the Dead Space franchise, despite the forced feel of the sequels. I will no doubt go back for a second play through before the next installment. Maybe I will try out the re-release of System Shock...

A very short puzzler / maze crawler. The whole game reminds me of Penrose stairs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing it, but for how short the game was - the price tag was a bit high.

Finally went back and completed the last few quests I had left. I had played through most of it right after it was released but lost momentum right at the end.

Free on PS+, I had heard a lot of praise for this title. I can't say that it lived up to all the hype. A very generic shooter with a few bugs along the way. The ending was a little rewarding though, and the campaign was short.

A very simple, quick and super goofy adventure through space. I had fun and played through multiple times. I thought that the story and overworld was fun but the combat never struck me as enjoyable.

Dishonored was a great game, I really appreciate that your actions affect the game world rather than just the ending of the game. More dead bodies in your wake bring on more plague rats - which gave me incentive to play the game with a focus on stealth and nonlethal solutions.

A fun zombie game with an interesting story. I thought the gameplay was a little underdeveloped in parts but it didn't keep me from enjoying the game.

Awesome! I've been waiting a long time to play Fez and was hooked as soon as I started playing. The game is a nice length allowing for early completion, but there is plenty to do and every reason to go back and find all the cubes!

A tower defense that makes you really feel like you are defending something. You freely place your towers and defenses where you want and hordes come from all over. Your towers will be destroyed, and your fortifications will be in ruins by the end of each map.

I was a little worried that the dated graphics and gui would prevent me from fully enjoying the game, but I was so enthralled that I didn't even notice. A really great point-and-click adventure game with puzzles that make sense. The story was great and I want to see more of this universe.

I had this sitting around for a long time without giving it a second look. I regret not giving this a try when I got it. It's a blast!

Zombie Tower Defense, brilliant.
