Spirited Away (2001)
Beautiful animation matches an original story with the most gorgeous atmosphere I've ever seen, period.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)
This is a complex and fascinating look into the mind of a genius who may be starting to lose his sanity.

Zoolander (2001)
A film that mastered equilibrium between smart satire and stupid humor, this is one of the funniest films I've ever seen.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)
This suave action heist caper is a ton of fun to watch.

garfield2710's rating:
Peter Jackson succeeds in creating (or recreating) a magical world with a really epic story and decent performances.
garfield2710's rating:
It looks great and is incredibly faithful to the source material (which does kind of work against it) and every actor does a good job. A magical ride.
garfield2710's rating:
Rat Race (2001)
A really funny film with characters that, despite the fact that they do so many horrible things, are so likable. It's a very good remake of "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World," updating it and not simply rehashing jokes and plot points from that film.
garfield2710's rating:
Moulin Rouge! (2001)
This is a visually stunning film with a decent story that has a lot of heart in it.
garfield2710's rating:
Monsters, Inc. (2001)
It's not as memorable as other Pixar offerings, but it's still got some emotionally deep scenes, and good characters.
garfield2710's rating:
Osmosis Jones (2001)
I just didn't think the movie's plot had anywhere interesting to go.
garfield2710's rating:
Max Keeble's Big Move (2001)
Eh, there are good scenes and there's a good movie hidden in here, but it's too smarmy to be enjoyable.
garfield2710's rating:
The Fast and the Furious (2001)
There are good action scenes and the stunt work is great, but the flat characters and dumb story make it impossible to care what's happening.
garfield2710's rating:
MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate (2001)
Spoiler Alert, the monkey's on the skateboard for only about a minute and a half. Personally I'd be glad he's not on it more, except that that's not what the film said it was about. On top of that, it left absolutely no impact on me at all, the plot is dumb and the acting is mediocre at best. Leave this turkey alone.
