Peter Jackson succeeds in creating (or recreating) a magical world with a really epic story and decent performances.

It looks great and is incredibly faithful to the source material (which does kind of work against it) and every actor does a good job. A magical ride.

A really funny film with characters that, despite the fact that they do so many horrible things, are so likable. It's a very good remake of "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World," updating it and not simply rehashing jokes and plot points from that film.

This is a visually stunning film with a decent story that has a lot of heart in it.

It's not as memorable as other Pixar offerings, but it's still got some emotionally deep scenes, and good characters.

It's way to long and is incredibly melodramatic.

Eh, there are good scenes and there's a good movie hidden in here, but it's too smarmy to be enjoyable.

There are good action scenes and the stunt work is great, but the flat characters and dumb story make it impossible to care what's happening.

Spoiler Alert, the monkey's on the skateboard for only about a minute and a half. Personally I'd be glad he's not on it more, except that that's not what the film said it was about. On top of that, it left absolutely no impact on me at all, the plot is dumb and the acting is mediocre at best. Leave this turkey alone.
