20 must read books/series

The chronicles of Narnia. I think anybody who knows me or follows me on tumblr will no doubt know that Im completly obsessed with all things narnia

The harry Potter Series. they leave so much details out in the movies not that I dont love the films but I prefer reading the books

Alice in wonderland and alice through the looking glass. Ive always wanted to fall down a rabbit hole and end up somewhere completly bizarre

The hunger Games trilogy beats twilight any day I love the fact that katniss is so so bad ass compared to most girls in books I think I finished the whole series in like 4 days I just couldnt put it down

The wonderful wizard of Oz Differs a lot from the movie this was by far my favourite book during primary school I always wanted to make a scarecrow to haave in my garden

The secret Garden. I love this book I havent read it in a long time but its one of those books that stay with you forever at least for me anyway

Bridge to Terabithia. Quite possibly the saddest book Ive ever read but also another classic

The perks of being a wall flower. I read this last summer at first its one of those ones that spring up a suprise on you and leave you thinking man I did not see THAT coming

The lord of the rings. Its a mammoth of a book and there are a few times when I got lost reading it but none the less its pretty epic

Percy jackson series. Im obsessed with greek mythology so I kinda love the idea that theres demi gods walking around way way different to the movie

Stardust . My sisters brought me this one for christmas a few years back and I only recently read it I love fantasy books and this one kinda has a feel of the older fairytales to it

Peter Pan because who doesnt want to stay youg forever or live in neverland

The ultimate hitch hikers guide to the galaxy full of satiric humour and a bit fast paced for my liking not something Id usually have read but now something Id read again and again after having read it

One day. Im a sucker for a bit of old fashioned romance so I really enjoyed readint this one but ince the ending drew near I was kinda wishing I hadnt I cry way way too easily

The water babies- another classic childrens book I kind of get mixed vibes though reading this one its slightly confused until you sit down and have a think about it

The complete stories of hans christian anderson. who doesnt love a fairytale every once in a while

David Copperfield- I read this one when I was 12 as part of a reading group I kinda love all of charles dickens work

The lovely Bones- probably not something Id usually enjot just because of the whole sad death theme of the book but I really enjoyed it

The scarlett letter kinda shows how far people have come in terms of what was right and wrong its shocking to think that these things actually used to happen
