"The second best Sonic game, until Mania was released, this was my favourite."
"Good levels, although it seems shorter than its counterpart Sonic 3. It's very similar, but adds Knuckles as a playable character. Sonic 3 & Knuckles really it's better than them separated, though."
"I also played this game for the first time at my grandmas. I was very shocked to see the almighty knuckles as a bad guy! I guess he got brawn instead of brains haha, but truth be told I never beat this game till a good friend of mine told me i had to beat if i wanted to claim being a sonic fan. So one day I did sit down and beat it after alot of practice! I love the mushroom addition to the game and the sound it made. BOING!"
"Release Date: October 17, 1994 (NA) Publisher: Sega Developer: Sonic Team Genre: Platformer If Sonic & Knuckles was just the Sonic & Knuckles game, you might find it a little lower on this list...But the beauty of Sonic & Knuckles is that it allows you to play the first three Sonic games all over again...But this time with Knuckles. Since Knuckles plays differently than Sonic, players were met with a whole new way to experience the Sonic games that they loved. That innovation alone makes it one"
