A motley group of conmen are stranded in a small Italian port when their ship breaks down on route to North Africa where they were hoping to acquire land rich in uranium. Whilst waiting for repairs they meet a seemingly innocent English couple but as the story unfolds nothing is quite what it appears to be.
This whimsical comedy is very much a parody of the 1940's film noir style of crime thriller and embraces crime, romance and drama.
