Steven Universe update feed

"In this coming-of-age story, Steven Universe (based on Rebecca Sugar’s own brother and an animator on the series) is a young boy who lives with the magical humanoid aliens known as Crystal Gems. As a half-Gem himself, he’s learning to tap into his own powers as he and his friends go on adventures. This heartwarming series has received acclaim for its design, music, and voice acting, while its LGBTQ-friendly and body-positive themes and narratives are what really set it apart. Cartoon Network"
“Who doesn't love a good LGBT cartoon? I love the whole entire LGBT community, mostly gays. My favorite character is Lapis, my favorite ship is Lapidot and I love every episode with Lapis in it! I am so glad they included a non-binary character.” read more

"I really like the show, I think the core of it is good, but some of the outside things weight it down, the mechanical things. The core being the character work and the messages. The real ones, not the ones some people seem to think. About the ending, I get what they are going for, the episode title tells you what they are going for. But is goes to fast and without enough words xD Apparently they were rush, but even with that. My problem is with the mechanics of it and not the idea of it."

"Plot: Steven Universe is a show about a young human/gem (alien) hybrid named Steven living on Earth with the Crystal Gems, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl. Garnet. Their former leader, Rose Quartz chose to protect Earth from their former rulers, the Diamonds, with one of them, Pink Diamond, the ruler of Earth. Although Rose's son, Steven, the title character was told that she never wanted to shatter (aka kill) gems, or even the diamonds, many have witnessed her shattering Pink Diamond. However, Steven"

"A marxist and liberal propaganda show decorated with pretty colours and average animation (copypaste anime scenes) for kids, 21th century cartoon niggers!"

“A show that had a very slow start before becoming a show with some deeply emotional character development and an interesting over arching narrative. However, the show suffers quite a bit from having a lot of filler episodes, though they are all still have at least 1 legitimatly entertaining moment in them. The art style is very distinct with simple hand drawn character designs supported by some beautifully PPG danced panced style backgrounds with some heavy emphasis on nature. Solid series that when its good, its VERY good, but seems to wollow in its own filler syndrome a lot lately.” read more
