Laurie Metcalf makes some great choices. Gita Hall created a great character and J.P. Gillain is very believable, Alexander von Roon plays his Swedish Attaché.

I love how everyone was SUPER flawed but tried their best and were essentially good people. Usually shows make the flawed people unlikeable or "bad".
It's very real. they learn from their mistakes but not really, and they keep making the same mistakes like how in real life you would unless you got therapy...
