"When you put the holiday of "Christmas" together with the name of legendary animator Chuck Jones, the first thing that comes to anybody's mind is How The Grinch Stole Christmas. And while I love that holiday classic, I also have much love for a much lesser known Jones illustrated special called A Very Merry Cricket. It's the sequel to a cartoon short called A Cricket In Times Square (which to be honest, I've never heard of until I saw Merry Cricket and have yet to watch if I can ever find it...)"
